What the official Hasbro listing actually is
The product most likely to be meant by “the Hasbro Legend of Zelda Master Sword” is Hasbro Pulse’s Heroes of Hyrule Link listing. It is not a page for a loose sword. It describes a six-inch-scale Link figure inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, with more than 20 articulation points, a fabric cape, a Hylian Shield, an interchangeable Zonai power hand and a Master Sword.

Hasbro’s Zelda partnership
Hasbro announced its multi-year Nintendo licensing partnership on July 16, 2026, with the Zelda collaboration scheduled to begin in 2027. The announcement presents the products as toys built around play and role-play. Billy Lagor, Hasbro’s president of Toys and Board Games, described the goal as “delivering toys that invite fans to play, explore and forge their own epic adventures.” That is a statement about the intended experience of the partnership, not an independent assessment of a sword’s construction or rarity.
What comes with the Link figure

Two other products that are easy to confuse with it
Hasbro Heroes of Hyrule Princess Zelda
Hasbro also lists a separate Heroes of Hyrule Princess Zelda figure. It is another six-inch-scale figure with more than 20 articulation points, but its sword accessory is described as a Decayed Master Sword and the package includes an interchangeable sword-grip hand. It is therefore a different figure package with a different sword accessory, not a second listing for the same Link sword.
The reviewed Princess Zelda page also gives an approximate June 1, 2027 ship date. The official page does not establish a standalone sword sale, separate sword dimensions or a separate release schedule for that accessory.

Nintendo’s costume sword and scabbard
Nintendo’s store has a separate Link Costume Master Sword. The listing says it includes one toy sword and scabbard, measures 26 inches long by 6 inches wide by 2 inches deep, is made by Disguise and carries SKU 119486. It is a costume toy or role-play accessory, not a Hasbro product and not the sword bundled with the Hasbro Link figure.
Those products serve different purposes. The Hasbro accessory is scaled for a six-inch figure; the Nintendo-store item is a full-size costume prop intended to be worn or carried. Their lengths, packaging and manufacturers are not interchangeable evidence of quality, scarcity or collectibility.

Use the manufacturer and package contents as your first two checks. A title containing “Master Sword” does not tell you whether you are buying a figure accessory or a costume sword.
Toy, collectible or both? Use the terms precisely
Why “toy” is the official category
A toy is designed to be handled for play, posing or role-play. Hasbro’s announcement uses that language for the Zelda partnership, and the Link page describes a poseable figure with interactive accessories. Those facts support “toy” as the product category even if the character, game connection and licensed packaging attract adult fans.
Why buyers may still call it a collectible
“Collectible” often describes the owner’s purpose rather than a manufacturer’s legal or marketing category. Someone who buys the Link figure to keep it boxed, arrange it with other Zelda figures or display the Master Sword beside a game collection is collecting it. That personal use does not convert the bundled accessory into a separately issued Hasbro collectible.

The reviewed official pages do not provide a standalone Hasbro Master Sword product number, separate sword dimensions, material specification, battery information, edition numbering, production quantity, scarcity statement or resale forecast. How to identify the exact item before buying
Follow this sequence whenever a listing, social post or search result uses the broad phrase “Hasbro Master Sword.”
- Open the seller’s full product page. Do not rely on a search-result snippet. Confirm that the page names either Heroes of Hyrule Link, Heroes of Hyrule Princess Zelda or a different product altogether.
- Read the manufacturer field. Hasbro should appear for the figure packages. Disguise appears on Nintendo’s Costume Master Sword listing. If the seller omits the manufacturer, treat the identity as unverified.
- Check the package contents. “Includes Master Sword” on the Link figure page means an accessory inside a figure package. “Includes one toy sword and scabbard” identifies the separate costume product.
- Match the scale or dimensions to your intended use. Six-inch-scale figure accessories are made to accompany a figure. The 26-inch costume sword is physically much larger and is not a replacement for the figure accessory.
- Record the item or SKU. The Nintendo costume listing identifies SKU 119486. The Hasbro pages use product codes G45155X00 for Link and G45165X00 for Princess Zelda. Matching the code protects you from a title that combines details from multiple products.
- Check timing and availability. The Hasbro pages reviewed show an approximate June 1, 2027 ship date. A marketplace may show a different date, an estimated arrival or an in-stock claim; compare it with the current official page.
- Save the package description. Keep a screenshot or order record showing what was promised. This is useful if a seller ships a figure without the advertised accessory or substitutes a different Zelda sword.
Choose by use case, not by the word “Master Sword”
For figure play and posing
The Hasbro Link package is the relevant choice when you want a poseable character with a sword sized for that figure. Its more than 20 articulation points, fabric cape and interchangeable Zonai power hand provide the play and posing features identified by Hasbro. The sword is part of that figure system, so evaluate the complete package rather than treating the accessory as a separate purchase.
For a second character in the same scale
The Princess Zelda package gives you a different six-inch-scale character and a Decayed Master Sword accessory. Choose it when the character and the altered sword design fit your display or play setup. Do not assume its accessory is identical to Link’s Master Sword simply because both names include “Master Sword.”
For costume role-play
The 26-inch Nintendo-store sword and scabbard is the clearly identified option among these listings for a costume or full-size role-play context. Its listed dimensions make it unsuitable as a figure-scale accessory. Because it is made by Disguise, buying it does not add a Hasbro item to your collection.

Any of the figure packages can be displayed as a collectible if that is your goal, but the official descriptions do not promise a numbered edition, limited production run or investment value. The Hasbro Link and Princess Zelda pages reviewed give an approximate June 1, 2027 ship date. A date that far ahead can move as production and fulfillment schedules change. The date should be treated as a snapshot of the listing, not a delivery guarantee. Recheck the page at checkout, save the order confirmation and monitor any seller notification that changes the estimate.
Hasbro’s partnership announcement says the collaboration begins in 2027, which is consistent with the future ship timing but does not guarantee that every retailer will receive stock on the same day. A retailer’s “in stock” label may refer to a different Zelda product, a preorder allocation or a third-party listing. Match the product code before using that label to make a buying decision.
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Mistake: treating a bundled accessory as a standalone release
A photograph of a Master Sword can make the accessory look like the product being sold. Read the package description: on the Hasbro Link page, the sword appears among the figure’s included accessories. If no official page names a loose sword, do not assume one exists.

Mistake: merging Hasbro and Disguise products
The Nintendo-store costume sword has a larger 26-inch format and a scabbard. The Hasbro figure package has a six-inch-scale character and a figure-sized accessory. Different dimensions and manufacturers mean they should be evaluated as separate products.
Mistake: assuming “collectible” means limited or valuable
Collector appeal can come from fandom, display plans or completing a character lineup. The reviewed official material does not state production limits, edition numbers, market value or guaranteed appreciation. Use those factors only when a seller supplies verifiable documentation, not as an assumption based on the franchise name.
Mistake: using the wrong sword description
Link’s package lists a Master Sword; Princess Zelda’s lists a Decayed Master Sword. Copying one description into the other can lead to an incorrect order. Check the character name and accessory wording together.

That depends on what you want to own. It is a sensible match if you want a licensed, poseable Link figure in a six-inch-scale format and value the included shield, alternate hand, cape and sword. It is not the right match if your primary goal is a large costume sword, because the official Hasbro listing does not describe one.
It can also be a reasonable display collectible for a fan who likes the Tears of the Kingdom version of Link. “Collectible” in that sentence describes your display intention. It should not be read as a claim that Hasbro has issued the Master Sword as a separately numbered or investment-grade item.
Bottom line for buyers
Based on the official listings, classify the Hasbro item as a toy action-figure package whose Master Sword is an included accessory. You may collect and display it, but the reviewed evidence does not establish a standalone Hasbro Master Sword collectible. If you want a full-size role-play sword, compare it separately with Nintendo’s 26-inch Disguise-made Costume Master Sword and scabbard.
