Is Fliff Legal in Tennessee? What the State’s Operator List Says

Fliff is not listed as an authorized Tennessee sports wagering operator. The Tennessee Sports Wagering Council says it is illegal to bet on sports in Tennessee through an operator that is not on its approved list. That does not establish the legal status or Tennessee availability of every separate Fliff feature, so check the Council’s current list and Fliff’s terms before using a particular product.

Is Fliff a licensed sportsbook in Tennessee?

No. Fliff does not appear on the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council’s approved licensees and registrants list. The Council states that betting on sports in Tennessee with an operator not listed there is illegal. On that basis, Fliff should not be treated as an authorized Tennessee sportsbook.

The Council also warns that using an offshore, unlicensed sportsbook may be a crime under Tennessee Code Annotated § 39-17-502. Its warning concerns sports wagering through unlicensed operators; it is not a finding about every feature Fliff may offer.

What the operator list does—and does not—tell you

The list identifies operators licensed for sports wagering in Tennessee. Fliff’s absence means it is not listed as a licensed Tennessee sports wagering operator. The list alone does not determine how Tennessee law treats every distinct product feature, such as a free-to-play or promotional offering, and it does not confirm whether those features are available in the state.

No authoritative Fliff source in the available information confirms current Tennessee eligibility for each feature. Check Fliff’s current terms for the specific product you intend to use, and consult the Council if the feature’s legal status is unclear.

How to check before using a sports wagering app

  1. Open the Council’s Approved Licensees & Registrants page and look for the operator’s name.
  2. Confirm that the product you plan to use is sports wagering and not a separate feature with different terms.
  3. Review the operator’s current terms and Tennessee eligibility information before signing up or placing a wager.

The Council says it cannot recover funds if a bettor cannot withdraw money from an unlicensed site. That makes checking the live list important not only for legal compliance but also before depositing money.
