A fact-check published October 5, 2026, could not substantiate either figure and did not identify the original analyst-data provider, the date of the estimate, or the earlier and later values behind the percentage change. That does not prove the figures were never published; it means the claim cannot currently be confirmed from the cited evidence.
Is the MX$8,567.84 target verified?
No. The October 5, 2026 fact-check by iTechGuides reports that it could not verify the target or the claimed increase. It also notes that the claim lacks an identified originating provider, an as-of date, and the before-and-after consensus values needed to check the calculation.

This is an evidence limitation, not proof the number never appeared anywhere. Without the original data or a traceable record of the calculation, the headline should not be treated as an established analyst estimate.

What do dated analyst snapshots show?
Third-party snapshots surfaced October 6, 2026, show a US-dollar consensus estimate, not confirmation of the peso-denominated claim. Their analyst coverage counts differ, underscoring that consensus varies with provider coverage and update timing.

These are dated third-party snapshots and may change. The different analyst counts are a reason to name the provider and snapshot date when quoting consensus, rather than presenting one figure as a universal or company-issued target.
Is the Mexican-peso figure a share price or an analyst target?
They are different measures. MarketScreener’s Mexican S.E. page labels its MXN figure as an end-of-day quote and identifies the listing with the same issuer identifier; that is a share quote, not an analyst price target. It therefore cannot verify the claimed MX$8,567.84 consensus target. MarketScreener’s Mexican S.E. listing

How can the 21.82% increase be checked?
A percentage increase requires comparable earlier and later estimates. To validate this claim, a reader needs the originating provider’s record, its as-of date, and both consensus values used in the calculation. Those inputs are not identified in the available evidence, so the percentage cannot be independently recalculated without guessing.
