No: Steam’s official listing dates Dementium II HD to December 17, 2013, and Steam’s announcement from that day said the game was available. The October release claim is not supported by those official records.
What Steam’s records say about the release date
The Steam store page lists Dementium II HD as released on December 17, 2013. Steam’s announcement, published on the same date, stated: “Dementium II HD is Now Available on Steam and 25% off.” That confirms the PC game was already available on Steam in 2013, rather than arriving there in October. It describes Dementium II HD as a rebuilt version of the handheld game, with updated visuals, lighting, and refined controls. Its listed elements include horror, story, puzzles, and single-player action and adventure.

The Steam game and the original are different editions serving different needs. The original Dementium II is identified by a secondary reference as a 2010 Nintendo DS survival-horror first-person shooter. The Steam listing is a digital PC edition, not evidence of a physical Steam product.
