The list also reports a speedrun completed in under four hours. That is a stated trophy condition, not evidence that a normal first playthrough can meet it. A timed run may be intended as a later route after learning the map, unlocking movement options or understanding the endings. The available information does not say whether the timer counts cutscenes, pauses, deaths, difficulty selection or new-game-plus progress.
How hard is the platinum?
No defensible difficulty score exists before the announced release. The trophy requirements identify categories of work, but not their execution. The save-transfer terms are specific. Your demo save can carry into the full game only when all of the following apply:
- The demo and full game are on the same platform.
- You use the same account for both versions.
- You retain the demo save instead of deleting or replacing it.
- The full game is updated before you attempt the transfer.
Konami notes that some demo features or content may be restricted. Do not treat the demo as proof of the final game’s trophy behavior, difficulty or performance. Its value is practical: it lets you test the core feel and preserve progress when the platform and account conditions are met.
Standard versus Midnight Edition
The US PlayStation Store listed Standard at $29.99 and Midnight at $39.99 when accessed October 13, 2026. Prices and availability vary by region and can change.

Konami says the Digital Sound & Art Gallery is a separate application. Buy Midnight if that gallery and the in-game additions matter to you, not because it is expected to make the platinum easier. The available evidence does not establish any completion benefit.
Physical Midnight Edition and regional extras
Konami lists a physical Midnight Edition. It notes an Alucard Style Costume as an early-purchase or pre-order bonus and says the physical version requires an additional online-store download for that bonus. Those physical extras are territory- and stock-dependent. Confirm the retailer, region, edition contents and remaining stock before paying a premium.
