Brazil has not been confirmed as a map in Crazy Taxi: World Tour. SEGA has officially revealed Japan as a location; a fan-community post titled “Welcome to Brazil” is not an official confirmation. The game is announced for 2027, with no specific release date yet.
Is Brazil a map in Crazy Taxi: World Tour?
There is not enough official information to say that Brazil is in the game. The “Welcome to Brazil” post appeared in the Crazy Taxi fan community, but it does not establish that SEGA revealed a Brazil map. SEGA’s accessible announcements reviewed here do not confirm Brazil or describe a Brazil setting. The fan-community post should therefore be treated as an unverified claim, not a location announcement.

Which Crazy Taxi: World Tour locations are confirmed?
Japan
SEGA announced a Japan map on September 18, 2026. The publisher says it includes recognizable city scenery, landmarks and real-world businesses that serve as destinations. Japan is described as playable in story mode and other modes. The announcement does not establish that Brazil is another available map. Read SEGA’s Japan map announcement.

A globe-spanning journey, with locations still to be confirmed
SEGA describes a story in which protagonist Axel travels around the world running his taxi business, but that premise is not a complete list of maps. Beyond Japan, treat specific locations as unconfirmed unless SEGA announces them. The publisher’s June 8, 2026 announcement introduces the premise and modes; its official game website provides the series and game overview.

What is Crazy Taxi: World Tour?
SEGA describes Crazy Taxi: World Tour as a high-speed, open-city driving game. Its story follows Axel as he runs his taxi business around the world, and the game adds the franchise’s first online multiplayer mode. SEGA’s Japan-map announcement says online play supports up to six players in cooperative and competitive play.
The series began in arcades in 1999 and later reached home consoles, including Dreamcast. Its identity has long centered on fast city driving and rock music, according to SEGA’s official game website. SEGA identifies itself as publisher and developer; SEGA Europe’s June 7, 2026 announcement says original Crazy Taxi creator Kenji Kanno is helming the new game.

What to know about the closed network test
SEGA’s closed network test page describes test-only participation conditions and limitations. Entry required a SEGA Account, and selection could depend on platform, region, capacity and technical requirements. The test was free and online-only, and test save data could not transfer to the full game. SEGA also warned that licensed third-party music in test footage could lead to copyright claims or muting. These conditions apply to the test, not necessarily to the finished game. See SEGA’s closed network test page for its terms and streaming guidance.
