What Boult’s published policies promise
Boult’s India-facing website identifies Exotic Mile Pvt Ltd as its operator. Its published replacement and refund terms say that a wrong or damaged product should be reported within 72 hours of receipt, with photo or video evidence. They also provide a customer-service contact route and say prepaid orders cancelled by the company will be refunded within 48–72 hours. These are the company’s stated conditions, not an independent guarantee; terms can change, so check the live policy before buying.

The warranty policy requires valid proof of purchase and says warranty repairs must be carried out by an authorized service centre. It warns that a claim may be refused if customer or fault information submitted is incomplete or illegible. Repairs and replacements do not extend or renew the warranty period. Soundbars are excluded from the additional three-month warranty available through registration, but the published terms still state a one-year warranty for soundbars. Read the current terms and replacement/refund policy and warranty conditions for the product you are considering.
What customer complaints and reviews can—and cannot—show
Consumer Complaints Court’s Boult archive includes a May 30, 2025 complaint alleging that Boult Audio Z40 true wireless earbuds bought on Amazon did not work from the start and that follow-up after pickup had not resolved the issue at the time of posting. Other archive entries describe warranty or repair delays. These are individual submissions, not adjudicated findings or a verified record of case outcomes. The Boult complaint archive can suggest questions to ask, but it cannot establish how often buyers encounter these problems.

Before ordering a Boult product, check the practical terms that determine what happens if it arrives damaged or later needs service:
- Confirm the seller and return window. Check who is actually selling the item and how long you have to report a problem or return it. Do not assume the manufacturer’s policy replaces the marketplace or seller’s return terms.
- Read the exact model’s warranty. Verify the stated duration and exclusions, and whether any registration is required for an additional benefit.
- Check service arrangements. The written policy requires an authorized service centre for warranty repairs. Confirm the available route for your location before relying on warranty coverage.
- Keep your paperwork. Save the invoice, order details, product packaging if useful for a return, and all support messages. Proof of purchase is required for a warranty claim.
- Look at recent, model-specific feedback. Treat individual reviews as reports to weigh, not as a reliable measure of how likely a fault is.
For example, the public complaint archive names “Boult Z40 earbuds” in a report about a purchase on Amazon. That establishes the model as the subject of a complaint, not that a current Amazon listing is available, who sells it now, or whether it is a good buy. If you are considering that model—or another Boult product—apply the same seller, return, warranty, service, and review checks to the actual listing.
