His advice to fans: “Absolutely stay tuned.”
Is Bose making a new gaming headset?
There is no confirmed product, name, specification or launch date. In an interview published by TechRadar on October 7, 2026, Bose president Raza Haider acknowledged that gamers have asked for more gaming audio products and said Bose keeps the community in view. He encouraged fans to “absolutely stay tuned,” while saying he hoped something might come at some point in the future. That is a signal of interest, not a launch announcement.

What would Bose want to get right?
Haider said a future headset would need to serve gamers on their own terms: “I think if we do something, it has to be authentic to that consumer, it has to be authentic to that community, and it has to meet a certain bar of performance that what we have right now isn’t quite there,” he told TechRadar.

He also said he did not think the earlier QC35 II Gaming Headset “resonated because it wasn’t truly authentic.” The comments suggest Bose sees more than sound quality as necessary: a gaming headset has to address how players actually use it, including gaming-specific controls and features.

What was Bose’s previous gaming headset?
The Bose QC35 II Gaming Headset was the company’s earlier gaming-focused product, released in 2021, according to TechRadar. It was based on the QC35 II headphones, with a boom microphone for gaming use.
TechRadar’s summary of its review praised the headset’s noise cancellation, balanced sound and comfort, but said gaming-oriented controls were lacking, including an instant mute button and automatic play/pause. Those are findings from the publication’s review of the older product, not an assessment of a possible future model.

What gamers should watch for
If Bose does develop another gaming headset, Haider’s comments point to two tests: whether it is designed around the needs of gamers, and whether its performance meets the company’s stated bar. Until Bose confirms a product and publishes specifications, details such as microphone quality, connection options, platform support, controls and availability remain unknown.
