China is part of Bang & Olufsen’s supplier and materials picture, but the company’s disclosures do not establish that all—or any particular current model—are made or assembled there. B&O is Danish, and it identifies Struer, Denmark, as a location for aluminium processing and finishing. Supplier locations, component processing and finished-product assembly are different things.
What B&O’s disclosures say about China
B&O’s FY 2024/25 annual report says suppliers melt aluminium in Europe or China. It also says aluminium used by B&O’s partners in China was either processed at Factory 5 in Struer or sourced locally. This establishes China-related supplier and materials activity; it does not establish where a finished B&O product is assembled. B&O’s annual reports

What happens at Factory 5 in Struer
B&O describes Factory 5 in Struer, Denmark, as a site for aluminium inspection, machining, surface treatment, anodisation, decoration and quality control. The company also identifies Struer as its headquarters. These operations show that significant aluminium work takes place in Denmark, but they do not determine the final assembly country of every product. B&O’s Factory 5 overview
What the supplier figures do—and do not—tell you
In its FY 2023/24 supplier disclosure, B&O reported 99 product-related suppliers as of May 31, 2024, with more than half located in Denmark. The company said its top eight suppliers accounted for 96% of product-related spend in that fiscal year. These are dated figures about the supplier network, not a breakdown of where finished products are made. B&O’s FY 2023/24 supplier disclosure

How to check where a specific B&O product was made
The reviewed company disclosures do not provide a complete product-by-product country-of-origin list. For a particular item, check the origin label on the unit or packaging and ask B&O to confirm using the model and serial number. A supplier’s location or the origin of one component cannot establish the origin of the finished product.
Keep three questions separate when checking a product’s origin:
