Anthropic may go public as soon as mid-November 2026, according to an October 1 report, but the company has not confirmed a listing date. Anthropic has announced that it confidentially submitted a draft registration statement to the SEC for a proposed IPO. The company says the offering depends on SEC review, market conditions and other factors.

What is confirmed about Anthropic’s IPO?

On June 1, 2026, Anthropic said it had confidentially submitted a draft Form S-1 to the SEC for a proposed offering of its common stock. The company described the filing as giving it the option to go public after SEC review; it did not announce that the review was complete or that an IPO would definitely proceed. Anthropic also said the offering would depend on market conditions and other factors. Anthropic’s announcement said the number and price of shares had not been set.

A confidential draft submission is not the same as an effective registration statement or a completed IPO. The announcement did not specify a final listing date, ticker, offer price, share count, valuation target or proceeds.

Why is November being reported as the target?

An October 1, 2026 report by Reuters, republished by Investing.com and attributed to Bloomberg and people familiar with the matter, said Anthropic could debut as soon as mid-November. The report said formal marketing might begin the week of November 9 and trading could start before Thanksgiving, November 26. It also said discussions were ongoing and the timetable could change. • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Axios had also described a November Nasdaq debut as expected on September 30. That, too, was reporting about expectations—not confirmation from Anthropic. Axios’s coverage characterized the prospectus as reportedly circulating.

What do Anthropic’s funding and revenue figures mean?

They provide context about the company, but they are not IPO terms. On May 28, Anthropic announced that its Series H raised $65 billion at a $965 billion post-money valuation. The company also said its run-rate revenue had crossed $47 billion earlier that month. These are company-reported funding and operating figures; the $965 billion valuation is from a private funding round, not a public-market IPO valuation, and the revenue figure is not audited IPO disclosure in the cited announcement. What should prospective investors watch for?

  • A public filing or company announcement: These would provide more definitive information than reports about a possible timetable.
  • SEC review and registration effectiveness: Anthropic says its option to go public depends on SEC review; a draft submission alone does not establish that the offering is ready to trade.
  • Offer terms: Share count, price, ticker and other details were not set in the June announcement. The cited reports do not establish final terms.
  • Schedule changes: The reported mid-November window is tentative, and the October 1 report says timing could shift.
