These are figures for the HRF454TW sheet; they should not be confused with the capacity or energy figures for later models.

The model suffix matters. Haier’s HRF454TW3 is a distinct variant, and HRF450TW is a separate model, not another name for the HRF454TW.

The newer HRF454TW3 guide also lists a frost-free freezer, adjustable glass shelves, LED lighting, a humidity-controlled crisper, a slide-out chiller box, a manual twist ice maker and a reversible door. Those details belong to the HRF454TW3 documentation; check the appliance label and its own documentation before assuming a feature applies to an HRF454TW.
The HRF450TW is a documented current-model comparison point, not a confirmed drop-in replacement. Compare the exact capacity basis, energy label and annual consumption, exterior dimensions, freezer and defrost arrangement, storage layout, condition, warranty or service access, and asking price before choosing between it and a used HRF454TW.

Is the Haier HRF454TW still available?
ProductReview.com.au labels the HRF454TW discontinued. That listing does not prove that every local seller has stopped carrying remaining stock, but current stock for the exact model is not established here. A listing with a similar name may instead be for the HRF454TW3 or HRF450TW, so match the complete model code on the appliance label rather than relying on a short seller title.

- Cooling: If the unit can be run before purchase, check that both compartments cool consistently and that the freezer is functioning.
- Sound: Listen for abnormal or persistent noise during operation.
- Door and seal: Check that the door closes properly and inspect the seals for visible damage.
- Interior: Look over drawers, shelves, the chiller drawer and ice tray for damage or missing parts.
- Fit: Measure the intended space against the HRF454TW’s listed 1780 × 705 × 680 mm dimensions, and allow for the door swing and practical access. Confirm whether the door’s opening direction works in your kitchen.

The older sheet’s gross-capacity figure suggests a relatively roomy design, but it is not an apples-to-apples measure against the newer models’ stated total volumes.

Be more cautious if the seller cannot show the model label, demonstrate operation, explain the unit’s condition, or clarify what service support is available. Given the discontinued listing and mixed but limited owner reports, the individual appliance’s condition and the deal matter more than a broad reliability claim.
