No official source reviewed confirms a Black Clover manga update for October 12, 2026. The date should not be treated as an announced chapter or release: the official material identified concerns the manga’s completed serialization period and separate anime news.
Has a Black Clover manga update for October 12 been announced?

An October 1 social-media discussion speculates about a Jump Press broadcast on October 12 and a Black Clover-themed “Grimoire” teaser, but that discussion is not a primary announcement and does not establish that the subject is manga. View the discussion.
What is confirmed about the manga?
Shueisha’s official English introduction says: “Black Clover was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and Jump GIGA from February 2015 to May 2026.” That states the serialization period; it does not rule out future special or bonus material, but it does not announce any either. See Shueisha’s Black Clover series page.

VIZ’s chapter listing reaches chapter 392, with its latest displayed chapter group dated April 30, 2026. The page notes that the latest free chapters available in a reader’s location are on partner site MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA, so chapter access can vary by region. Check VIZ’s chapter listing.
Why anime announcements may be mistaken for manga news
Official Black Clover notices published around this period concern anime and related media, not a manga update for October 12. The Weekly Shonen Jump series page’s October 5, 2026 notice is for a second-season Blu-ray release planned for March 24, 2027; its September 28 notice concerns an anime visual. The anime site also lists October 3 announcements about a campaign and video/Blu-ray news. Weekly Shonen Jump notices and official anime news.

Those items establish anime and media activity, not a manga release date. A manga update should be treated as confirmed only when Shueisha, Weekly Shonen Jump, or an official Black Clover manga channel publishes a relevant announcement.
