Outdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down
One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallIf your IRL Pro YouTube stream has out-of-sync audio, first find where the mismatch begins: in the phone’s capture, a receiver preview, YouTube’s live player, or only the saved replay. Then test the audio route—especially Bluetooth—before changing streaming settings. These checks narrow down the cause; there is no verified universal IRL Pro sync control or official correction procedure established here.
Find where the audio first goes out of sync
Compare the same moment at each available stage: what the phone captures, what the receiving software shows, what viewers hear in YouTube’s live player, and what the replay contains after the stream ends. This is a diagnostic approach based on the separate capture, receiver, and playback stages—not a published IRL Pro checklist.

- Phone capture: If audio and video are already misaligned at the source, investigate the phone’s audio route and capture setup.
- Receiver preview: If the phone’s capture appears aligned but the receiver preview does not, focus on the receiver and the stream path reaching it.
- YouTube live player: If the receiver preview is aligned but the live player is not, compare a short test and consider whether player buffering or network congestion is involved.
- Saved replay: If the live player looked aligned but the replay does not, treat the archive as a separate symptom; the available sources do not establish a specific IRL Pro replay fix.
Also note whether the offset stays constant or worsens over time, whether Bluetooth is in use, and whether the stream uses SRT or RTMP. Those clues help distinguish an audio-route issue from transport or playback problems.
Test the phone’s audio route before changing stream settings
If the phone is connected to Bluetooth earbuds, a headset, speaker, or another Bluetooth audio device, disconnect it and run a short private or unlisted test using the phone’s built-in audio path. A third-party StreamerSentinel receiver troubleshooting guide lists Bluetooth under “Audio out of sync” and says it can introduce variable lag. This makes Bluetooth worth isolating; it does not prove Bluetooth is the cause in every setup.

If your setup needs an external microphone and your phone supports the connection, a compatible wired USB-C lavalier microphone is another possible test. This is an inference from the Bluetooth guidance, not a product test. Check your phone’s connector compatibility first. A wired mic will not correct a sync error introduced by the encoder, receiver, or YouTube player.
Check SRT, RTMP, and transport stability
IRL Pro setup guidance from a third party describes both RTMP and SRT. Check that the protocol selected in the app matches the protocol and URL configured in the relevant dashboard. A mismatch can prevent a reliable connection, but the source does not establish it as a universal audio-sync cause.

If the stream degrades while you move
A third-party IRL Pro setup guide recommends trying SRT instead of RTMP when a feed degrades while moving. If you already use SRT and the feed is unstable, it suggests lowering the bitrate. These are transport-stability recommendations, not proven fixes for every lip-sync problem. Change one variable at a time and compare another short test.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesIf you use SRT latency controls
StreamerSentinel recommends 2000 ms as a starting point in its own receiver workflow and suggests raising it to 3000–4000 ms if cellular drops occur. Its guide separately suggests lowering latency for its “Audio out of sync” case. These are recommendations for that third-party receiver workflow—not official IRL Pro defaults or YouTube settings. Do not increase SRT latency automatically: it adds transport delay and can make audience interaction less immediate.

- PLUG IN AND HEAR SOUND IN SECONDS - USB Type-A connector with a 3.5mm stereo headphone output and a separate 3.5mm mono microphone input. No drivers, no software, no external power - the adapter is USB bus-powered and is recognized as a standard USB audio device.
- WORKS ON WINDOWS, MAC AND LINUX - Driverless on Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/7/8, Linux and Mac OSX, and compliant with the USB Audio Device Class 1.0 specification, so any system that supports class-compliant USB audio will see it. Select it as the sound output and input device after plugging it in.
- TWO JACKS, TWO JOBS - The green jack is stereo OUT for headphones or powered speakers; the pink jack is mono microphone IN for a 3.5mm mic. It does NOT support 4-pole headsets on a single combo plug, it does NOT power passive speakers, and it does NOT add surround sound - it is a stereo 2-channel adapter.
- FOR LAPTOPS AND DESKTOPS THAT NEED AN AUDIO PORT BACK - Adds a headphone and mic port to a laptop, desktop, or mini PC whose onboard jack has failed or was never there. Managed and work-issued computers can block new USB audio devices by policy - check with your IT department before ordering for a company machine.
- SABRENT SUPPORT AND WARRANTY - What is in the box: one USB audio sound adapter. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty, extended to 2 years when you register within 90 days on the manufacturer's website.
SRT transport latency and YouTube viewer latency act at different points in the streaming chain. Adjusting one does not amount to adjusting the other.
Understand what YouTube latency can—and cannot—change
YouTube Help defines stream latency as the delay between camera capture and the event appearing for viewers. Its guidance says lower latency leaves the player with less read-ahead buffer, which can increase buffering; network congestion can also delay a stream even when average bitrate appears sustainable. YouTube describes normal, low, and ultra-low latency for supported encoder workflows, with trade-offs between interaction and buffering.

YouTube Help says webcam and mobile streams are set up for interactivity, and creators cannot select a live latency setting for those streams. Confirm which YouTube ingestion path you use before looking for a Control Room latency option. In any case, YouTube’s general latency control concerns viewer delay and buffering; the available documentation does not identify it as a lip-sync offset control.

| What you observe | What to test next |
|---|---|
| Sync changes when Bluetooth is disconnected | Repeat the same short test with Bluetooth off. If the result improves, keep isolating the Bluetooth audio path; the third-party guidance identifies it as a possible source of variable lag. |
| Preview is aligned, but YouTube playback is not | Compare another short test and check for buffering or congestion. Do not treat YouTube’s latency setting as a documented audio-offset control. |
| Audio and video drift farther apart over time | Record whether the drift appears in the receiver preview, YouTube live player, or replay. If the feed also degrades while moving, check protocol and network stability; the sources do not identify one proven cause for progressive drift. |
| Stream drops or degrades on cellular while moving | Check protocol and URL matching. The third-party setup guide suggests SRT for a feed that degrades while moving and lower bitrate if SRT is already in use. |
| Live playback seems aligned but the replay does not | Keep the live-player and replay symptoms separate. The available sources do not verify a specific IRL Pro setting or repair for this case. |
What is not established about IRL Pro sync controls
The available material does not verify a current IRL Pro audio/video offset slider, platform-specific sync setting, or official YouTube sync-repair procedure. Avoid relying on a setting name or fix that is not confirmed in current IRL Pro support materials. Because each stream can differ, these checks can narrow down where the issue starts but cannot determine the cause without a sample or diagnostic details from your setup.
