Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe iQOO Z9s Pro 5G costs more because it upgrades three things: the chipset (Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 versus Dimensity 7300), the second rear camera (8 MP ultra-wide versus a 2 MP bokeh sensor) and charging speed (80 W versus 44 W). Display size, battery capacity, main camera sensor and launch software are the same. At India launch in August 2024, the Pro started at INR 21,999 and the Z9s at INR 17,999, a gap of INR 4,000.

What the extra INR 4,000 buys
Processor
The Pro uses Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and the Z9s uses Dimensity 7300. In its launch announcement, iQOO cited AnTuTu scores of 8L+ (800,000+) for the Pro and 7L+ for the Z9s. Those are iQOO’s figures, and real-world results vary with software, thermals and configuration. They suggest a performance edge for the Pro, but they don’t show how either phone feels in games or daily use.

![MTRIEBA Compatible with Vivo iQOO Z9s Pro 5G Phone Case [with Tempered Glass Screen Protector] [2-in-1 Sliding Window - Kickstand Design] Blue](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41yMHw-J44L._SL160_.jpg)
- Includes a high-definition 9H screen protector made from 9H-hardness tempered glass, which effectively resists everyday scuffs, key scratches and accidental knocks, keeping your screen looking as good as new for years to come
- Military-grade drop protection: a hard PC back panel and soft TPU frame combined with shock-absorbing air cushions, plus raised edges to protect the screen and camera lens, providing robust defence against drops, knocks and everyday wear and tear.
- Smooth sliding, secure latching: Precision runners + anti-loosening latches ensure smooth, jam-free sliding and a secure, spring-loaded lock that won’t pop open, making them durable and long-lasting.
- Precise cut-outs, slim and non-slip: Full-featured, precise cut-outs that do not interfere with charging or photography; slim with a textured finish for a non-slip grip, portable and not bulky.
- Innovative 2-in-1 sliding cover and stand: the sliding lens cover doubles as a sturdy folding stand; slide it open to protect against scratches and dust, and close it to instantly transform it into a viewing stand, leaving your hands free for binge-watching or video calls
Cameras
Both phones share the same 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilisation, so the main camera is not where they differ. The Pro adds an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, which gives you wider group shots, buildings and landscapes. The Z9s has a 2 MP bokeh camera, which is a depth-assist sensor and not a separate viewpoint. iQOO’s Pro overview also describes 4K video with hybrid OIS and EIS stabilisation. The specifications alone don’t show which phone takes better photos overall.
Charging
Both have a 5500 mAh typical-capacity battery. The Pro is rated for 80 W charging and the Z9s for 44 W. iQOO says the Pro’s maximum 80 W needs the original charger and cable, and actual power varies with conditions. No independent tests of charge time or battery life are available, so don’t assume a specific time saving.

- 1*Phone Case,1*Tempered Glass Screen Protector
- Folding multi-angle support, you can adjust the support angle according to the use of the scene
- PC hard back panel + soft silicone frame + four corners Shock Airbags
- The frosted surface effectively prevents most fingerprints, and the carbon fiber texture design is stylish
- Case is higher than the camera as well as the screen, providing better flat protection
Display brightness
Size, resolution, panel type and 120 Hz refresh rate are identical. The only stated difference is brightness: 4500 nits for the Pro, described by iQOO as local peak, and 1800 nits for the Z9s, described as peak. The two figures use different wording, so they aren’t a like-for-like measurement. They are best read as a sign that the Pro’s panel is brighter in some conditions, not as a guaranteed gap in everyday outdoor use.
What is the same
- 6.77-inch AMOLED panel, 2392 × 1080, 120 Hz
- 5500 mAh typical battery
- 50 MP Sony IMX882 OIS main camera
- Funtouch OS 14 on Android 14 at launch
- Slim curved body: iQOO Connect, the official iQOO community account, said at launch, “Both devices in the iQOO Z9s series feature a sleek 7.49mm body, making them the slimmest curved smartphones in their segment.” This is a vendor claim about the segment at launch, not a current ranking.
- Software support announced at launch: two years of Android updates and three years of security updates. Check iQOO’s current update status before you rely on this.
Price difference: how to check it properly
iQOO announced the Pro’s sale for August 23, 2024 and the Z9s sale for August 29, 2024. The INR 4,000 launch gap is the only price comparison iQOO’s own materials support. Street prices have almost certainly moved since then, so I haven’t quoted a current gap. A marketplace listing for a Z9s 8 GB/256 GB configuration exists, but it isn’t reliable enough to establish a current price.

When you compare today’s prices, make sure you:
- Match the RAM and storage configuration on both phones.
- Use the listed price, then separately note bank offers, coupons and exchange bonuses.
- Compare the same seller and note the date you checked.
- Confirm what is in the box, since the Pro’s 80 W speed depends on its original charger and cable.
Which one to choose
- Pick the Z9s Pro if you want the ultra-wide camera, faster charging and the Snapdragon chip, and the current gap is close to the original INR 4,000 or smaller.
- Pick the Z9s if you mostly use the main camera and the 44 W charger is enough for you. You get the same screen size, battery capacity and main sensor for less money.
If the current gap is much wider than INR 4,000, the Z9s’s case gets stronger, because the shared display, battery and main camera mean the Pro is not better across the board.
