The India-market iQOO Z10 5G is a strong choice if long battery life, a large AMOLED display and smooth everyday performance matter more to you than camera versatility or high-frame-rate gaming. Its 7,300mAh typical battery is unusually large for a 199g phone, and independent reviewers consistently found endurance to be its standout feature. The trade-offs are a basic two-camera rear setup, weaker low-light photography and gaming performance that does not make it a competitive-gaming specialist. Whether it is worth buying now depends on its live price and the alternatives available at that price.

What are the iQOO Z10’s main strengths?
Battery endurance is the main reason to consider it
iQOO pairs a 7,300mAh typical-capacity battery with a body that weighs 199g. Capacity does not translate into a fixed number of hours: screen brightness, mobile signal, apps and gaming all affect runtime. Still, reviews agree that the Z10 lasts a long time between charges. The Indian Express reported more than 10 hours of screen-on time on heavy-use days and over two days with moderate use during its review period. Those are that publication’s observations, not a promise for every owner.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Controlled tests from other outlets produce different figures because their workloads and end points differ. MySmartPrice recorded 24 hours 47 minutes in its PCMark battery test; 91mobiles reported 16.7 hours in its PCMark comparison graphic; and Digit reported 24 hours to 20% remaining in its own PCMark battery loop. Treat these as separate review results, not competing estimates of a guaranteed everyday runtime. See the respective tests from MySmartPrice, 91mobiles and Digit.

The phone supports up to 90W wired charging. iQOO also advertises a 1%-to-50% charge time of 33 minutes, but that is a manufacturer lab result under specified conditions using the official charger and cable; actual charging time can vary. The Indian Express reviewer found that a full charge took slightly over an hour in their test. For the manufacturer’s test notes and claims, see iQOO’s product details.
The large, fast screen suits video and everyday use
The 6.77-inch, 2392 × 1080 AMOLED panel supports refresh rates up to 120Hz. Reviewers found it enjoyable for streaming and general use. iQOO advertises 5,000 nits of local peak brightness; that is a localized manufacturer claim based on lab conditions, not sustained brightness across the entire screen. Digit measured 1,095 nits at manual brightness and a 2,250-nit auto peak in its own display tests, so its results should not be directly equated with the manufacturer’s figure.

The panel has curved edges, which some people like for appearance and feel while others may prefer a flat screen for handling or fewer edge reflections. If you are choosing between phones, view the display in person if curved edges are a concern.
Everyday performance is dependable
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM, is suited to common apps, browsing, video and multitasking. Reviewers describe daily performance as smooth, with moderate gaming also comfortable. That makes the Z10 a practical general-use phone rather than a device whose main selling point is peak gaming speed.

What are the iQOO Z10’s drawbacks?
Rear-camera flexibility is limited
The rear array consists of a 50MP main camera and a 2MP bokeh/depth camera. The main camera is the one to use for ordinary photos; the secondary sensor does not provide an ultrawide view or a telephoto zoom perspective. Daylight results were generally described as usable or good in reviews, while low-light detail was a recurring weakness. If you regularly photograph landscapes, groups in tight spaces or distant subjects, a phone with a genuine ultrawide or telephoto camera will be more flexible.
The front camera is listed as 32MP in iQOO’s specifications. Reviewers differed on selfie processing, so the evidence does not support a single consensus verdict on that camera. The more consistent limitation is the rear system’s lack of lens variety.

It is not aimed at high-frame-rate competitive gaming
The phone can handle casual and moderate gaming, but do not buy it on the assumption that every game will run at a high refresh rate. In Digit’s 30-minute BGMI test, the game was limited to 60fps, with the phone around 35°C during that session. That result applies to that game and test setup; it is a useful warning against treating the Z10 as an enthusiast gaming phone, not a prediction for every title or software version.

Software polish and support deserve a check
At launch, the phone ran Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. The Indian Express found it fast and stable but less polished than some competing software, and noted preloaded apps that could be uninstalled. The Indian Express and MySmartPrice reported a commitment of two OS upgrades and three years of security updates in 2025. That is a reported launch-era commitment; its current status and fulfillment are not established here, so check iQOO’s latest support information if update longevity is important to you.

Who should buy the iQOO Z10?
- Consider it if battery endurance is a priority, you want a large 120Hz AMOLED screen, and your main use is everyday apps with occasional or moderate gaming.
- Compare other phones first if you need an ultrawide or telephoto camera, consistently strong low-light photos, or high-frame-rate competitive gaming.
- Check before committing if flat-screen ergonomics, software polish or long-term update support are deciding factors for you.
Compare current phones in the same price band on mixed-use battery life and charging, display brightness and shape, camera versatility, gaming frame rates, software support and the actual price of the configuration you can buy. Models named as contemporaneous comparisons in 2025 reviews included the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, Nothing Phone (3a), Vivo T4, Realme P3 Pro and POCO X7; their current prices and availability may have changed.
