The iQOO Neo 10R is the stronger phone on paper for gaming and smooth visuals. It has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip and a 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED display. The POCO X8 Power 5G wins on endurance, with a reported 10,000mAh battery against the Neo 10R’s 6,400mAh. The price gap is harder to pin down, because the listings we could find show different variants, offers and stock states. This guide covers the specs side by side and how to compare prices fairly.
Specs side by side
The iQOO column comes from iQOO India’s official model comparison and product page. The POCO column comes from 91mobiles’ comparison listing, so treat it as a secondary-source specification until you check POCO India’s own product page.

Performance and display
Chipset
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is a flagship-derived platform. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 sits in a lower tier. 91mobiles’ own comparison shows the gap: an AnTuTu score of 1,476,651 for the Neo 10R against 984,877 for the POCO X8 Power. That is that outlet’s figure only. The extract does not state the test date or conditions, so use it as a rough indication, not a guarantee. For long gaming sessions, the Neo 10R’s chipset is the safer bet.

Screen
The Neo 10R’s panel runs at 144Hz and has a higher pixel count in the 1.5K class. The POCO’s screen is slightly larger (6.83 against 6.78 inches) and tops out at 120Hz. Both are AMOLED. Competitive mobile gamers get the most out of 144Hz, but only in games that support such frame rates.

Battery and charging
This is the POCO’s clearest advantage. A 10,000mAh cell is roughly 56% larger than the Neo 10R’s 6,400mAh, and the POCO also charges faster on paper (100W against 80W). 91mobiles’ PCMark battery test lists 16h 22m for the Neo 10R and 20h 45m for the POCO. Those are the outlet’s figures and the test conditions aren’t given. Your real use time depends on screen settings, signal and workload. A bigger battery in a phone with a less efficient or less demanding chip generally means longer use between charges, but the extra capacity may also add thickness and weight. Check the listed weight on the retailer page.
Cameras
Both phones are listed with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide and a 32MP selfie camera. Megapixels alone say little about image quality. The Neo 10R’s documented extras are a Sony main sensor with optical image stabilisation and 4K 60fps video. The POCO listing doesn’t mention OIS, so assume the Neo 10R has the edge for low-light and handheld video until reviews show otherwise.

Price difference: why there is no single number
The listings we found don’t agree, and none can be treated as a live price:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches- 91mobiles’ comparison page showed the POCO X8 Power 5G at ₹35,999 (Flipkart) and the Neo 10R at ₹24,400, marked out of stock.
- 91mobiles’ launch coverage described ₹26,999 as the POCO’s effective launch price. That figure presumably includes offers, so it is not the same as the list price.
- iQOO’s official shop page showed ₹35,999 for the Neo 10R 12GB+256GB variant, also marked out of stock.
Taken at face value, the gap swings from the Neo 10R being about ₹11,000 cheaper to the two being level. That’s because the figures cover different memory tiers, list versus effective prices, and stock states. To get a true gap:

- The ring mount features a magnetic ring, allowing you to use it in your car or for other magnetic applications
- Pick the same RAM and storage tier on both phones (for example, 8GB+128GB).
- Note the list price, then separately the effective price after bank or exchange offers.
- Confirm the phone is in stock on the day you buy. An out-of-stock price may be stale.
- Check POCO India’s own page for specs and variants.
Which should you choose?
- Choose the iQOO Neo 10R if you play demanding games, want 144Hz and a sharper panel, or care about camera stabilisation and the stronger chip.
- Choose the POCO X8 Power 5G if battery life and fast charging matter most and your use is mostly social, video and everyday apps.
The price gap should settle it only when you compare matching variants on the same day. If the POCO is much cheaper at your tier, its battery makes it good value. If prices are close, the Neo 10R’s performance advantage is hard to ignore.
