On paper, the iQOO Neo 10 is the faster, bigger-battery, faster-charging phone, and the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G is the cheaper one with the clearer long-term software promise. This comparison covers India-market models only. Variants, prices and offers differ by country, and the prices below are dated snapshots rather than live quotes.
Specs side by side
The figures come from iQOO India’s Neo 10 specification page, Samsung India’s product page and Samsung Newsroom India’s 30 June 2026 launch announcement. They are manufacturer-listed specs. They are not independent test results.

Performance
The chipsets are in different classes. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is a higher-tier platform than the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, so the Neo 10 is the sensible pick for demanding games, heavy multitasking and anyone who keeps a phone for years of rising app demands. No independent benchmark or sustained-gaming data was available for this comparison, so the gap in everyday speed, heat or frame rates is unquantified here. For calls, social apps, UPI, streaming and light gaming, either chip class is a normal choice at these prices.
Display
Both phones use AMOLED panels. The Neo 10’s panel has the higher resolution (2800 × 1260 against 1080 × 2340) and a higher peak refresh rate (up to 144Hz against 120Hz). It is also slightly larger at 6.78 inches against 6.7 inches. These are specification differences. Brightness, colour accuracy and outdoor visibility were not measured in the sources, so there is no verdict on which screen looks better.
#1 Best Overall
- Google Pixel 10 Pro is the ultimate Pixel experience, featuring advanced AI with Gemini, unbelievable camera quality, impeccable design in two sizes, and the next-gen Google Tensor G5 chip[1]
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan[2]; it works - Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers
- Get a head start on syncing your data before it even arrives: After you purchase your new Pixel, look for an email that explains how to transfer your photos, videos, passwords, and more in just a few quick steps[11]
- Pixel’s pro camera system makes everything look amazing, even in low light; capture more of the scene with advanced Google AI models, and bring out incredible details with 100x Pro Res Zoom, stunning 50 MP images, and super steady videos in 8K[10]
- Pixel 10 Pro is built with durable aluminum and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for scratch and drop resistance; the 6.3-inch Super Actua display with 3,300-nit peak brightness is easy on the eyes, even in direct sunlight[3,13,18]
Battery and charging
iQOO lists a 7000mAh typical battery with 120W charging. Samsung lists 5000mAh with fast charging. The larger capacity and the stated wattage favour the Neo 10 on paper. Real-world runtime depends on the chipset, screen settings and software, and no endurance tests were available. Samsung’s charging speed is not stated in the sources reviewed, so a charging-time comparison cannot be made.
Cameras
The Neo 10 has two rear cameras (50MP main, 8MP ultra-wide) and a 32MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A27 5G has three (50MP, 5MP, 2MP) and a 12MP selfie camera. Both have a 50MP main sensor. The extra 2MP lens on the Samsung is a supporting sensor, and a higher camera count does not mean better photos. Image processing, low-light handling and video quality decide that, and no camera tests were available for either phone.
Rank #2
- Google Pixel 10 is the everyday phone unlike anything else; it has Google Tensor G5, Pixel’s most powerful chip, an incredible camera, and advanced AI - Gemini built in[1]
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan[2]; it works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers

- The upgraded triple rear camera system has a new 5x telephoto lens - up to 20x Super Res Zoom for stunning detail from far away; Night Sight takes crisp, clear photos in low-light settings; and Camera Coach helps you snap your best pics[3]
- Pixel 10 is designed - scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has an IP68 rating for water and dust protection[21]; plus, the Actua display - 3,000-nit peak brightness is easy on the eyes, even in direct sunlight[4]
Software and updates
This is Samsung’s clearest advantage. It commits to six Android OS / One UI upgrades and six years of security updates, with security updates valid until 31 July 2032. For a buyer who plans to hold the phone for five or six years, that is a concrete, citable promise. No equivalent iQOO commitment appeared in the sources reviewed. That does not mean none exists, so check iQOO’s current policy before buying.

What the gap is, and what it is not
- Closest storage match: the A27 8GB/256GB at ₹37,499 against the Neo 10 12GB/256GB at ₹40,999 is a ₹3,500 difference on listed prices. The Neo 10 has 4GB more RAM, and the two prices were captured at different times.
- Entry versus top tier: the A27 starts at ₹28,999, which is ₹12,000 below the Neo 10 listing. That is not a fair comparison, because the Samsung has half the storage and half the RAM.
- Current street price: Samsung’s buy page showed ₹33,999 for the 6GB/128GB model, above the launch price. Prices, bank offers and exchange bonuses move often, so compare both phones in the same storage tier on the same day, with the payment offer you would actually use.
Which one to choose
- Choose the iQOO Neo 10 if you want the stronger chipset, the higher-resolution and higher-refresh display, the 7000mAh battery and 120W charging, and you are paying near ₹40,000 for the 12GB/256GB version.
- Choose the Galaxy A27 5G if a lower entry price, a published six-year update plan and Samsung’s One UI matter more than raw performance. It is also the better fit if you only need the 6GB or 8GB variants.
Neither phone can be called better overall on this evidence. There are no independent gaming, camera or battery tests for either, so the case above rests on listed specs, the update commitment and dated prices.
