The iQOO Neo 10 is the stronger specification-led pick for a higher listed refresh rate, larger battery and faster rated charging. The Nothing Phone (4a) brings a dedicated 3.5x optical-zoom camera and a clearly stated software-support period. There is no reliable like-for-like price gap to quote from the available India listings: the iQOO store showed ₹43,999 for its selected 8GB+256GB model, while Nothing’s India product page did not expose a price.

These are published specifications, not independent measurements. A higher refresh-rate ceiling or a larger battery capacity does not by itself establish better image quality, longer real-world battery life, lower heat or higher sustained gaming performance.

How their performance and displays differ
Chipset and gaming hardware
iQOO lists the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while Nothing lists the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. The processor names place them in different chip families, but the specifications alone cannot show how far apart the phones perform in a particular game or under sustained load. No controlled head-to-head benchmark or thermal test is established here.
Neo 10 also has a higher stated maximum refresh rate: 144Hz versus the Phone (4a)’s adaptive 30–120Hz range. That makes iQOO the more compelling spec-sheet choice if a high refresh-rate ceiling is a priority; it does not mean every app or game will run at 144 frames per second. iQOO’s product page also promotes a 360-degree antenna, signal-bridge technology and a cooling design. Those are manufacturer claims, not verified reception, temperature or frame-rate results.

Display trade-off
iQOO specifies a 6.78-inch, 2800 × 1260 AMOLED panel. Nothing describes the Phone (4a) display as a 1.5K flexible AMOLED with adaptive refresh from 30Hz to 120Hz. The published figures give Neo 10 the larger stated screen and higher maximum refresh rate; they do not settle brightness, colour accuracy, outdoor visibility or overall picture quality.
Battery capacity and charging: what the figures show
The India Phone (4a) is listed with a 5,400 mAh battery. Nothing’s regional page gives 5,080 mAh for versions outside India, so the India figure is the relevant one for this comparison. iQOO lists the Neo 10 battery at 7,000 mAh typical capacity.

The rated charging figures also favour iQOO on paper: 120W against Nothing’s 50W. Capacity and charging wattage are not direct substitutes for independent endurance or charging-time tests. Actual results depend on conditions such as usage, temperature and charging equipment; the stated specifications alone do not establish how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in practice.

The clearest listed camera distinction is the Nothing phone’s 3.5x optical zoom. Its product page describes a three-camera system and a 50MP OIS main camera. iQOO lists a 50MP OIS main camera plus an 8MP ultra-wide camera, without a telephoto optical-zoom specification in the cited store listing.

Both phones list 32MP front cameras. Megapixel counts and camera-feature descriptions do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. No controlled sample-based comparison is available here, so choose Nothing if a specifically stated optical-zoom camera matters to you, not on the assumption that it guarantees better overall image quality.
Software versions and update commitments
iQOO lists Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 for Neo 10. Nothing lists Android 16-based Nothing OS for Phone (4a), with three years of OS updates and six years of security updates. That support duration is Nothing’s stated commitment. A comparable Neo 10 update-duration commitment was not verified, so these facts are not enough to claim that Nothing will receive updates for longer than iQOO.

Price difference in India: why a precise gap is not established
The iQOO India E-Store displayed ₹43,999 for the selected 8GB+256GB Alpine White Neo 10, against a stated MRP of ₹45,999. This is a variant-specific store listing, not a guaranteed price for every configuration or seller.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

Other snapshots are not a sound substitute for a same-day, same-configuration comparison: 91mobiles showed ₹35,949 via Amazon for Phone (4a) without confirming the matching memory configuration, while Smartprix showed ₹35,990 for Phone (4a) and ₹46,967 for Neo 10, with details marked updated September 25, 2026. These different seller and comparison-site figures may reflect different variants, offers or availability states.

For launch context only, Android Central reported a ₹31,999 starting price for the Phone (4a)’s 8GB/128GB model and an initial sale date of March 13, 2026. A launch price is not the current selling price. Compare the live price for the same RAM and storage on the same day, and check whether a displayed amount depends on a bank or exchange offer, before deciding which costs less.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose the iQOO Neo 10 if
- You prioritise the listed Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a 144Hz display ceiling, 7,000 mAh typical battery capacity or 120W charging rate.
- The selected 8GB+256GB model’s current price and availability suit your budget.
- You want the specification set described by iQOO and do not need a listed telephoto optical-zoom camera.
Choose the Nothing Phone (4a) if
- You specifically want its listed 3.5x optical zoom.
- You prefer Nothing OS and value Nothing’s stated three-year OS and six-year security update commitments.
- You are willing to compare the current price and configuration at purchase time, since the retrieved official India page did not show a price.
This is a specification-based choice, not a verdict from independent performance, camera, thermal or battery testing. If price decides the purchase, verify equivalent memory configurations and seller terms rather than subtracting figures from mismatched listings.
