The Motorola Edge 70 Max has the higher-resolution display, a more premium-named chipset, wireless charging and an official security-update horizon; the India-market iQOO Neo 10 counters with 120W wired charging and broad memory and storage options. Neither spec sheet proves which phone performs or lasts longer in everyday use. Prices are not a like-for-like comparison, either: the available figures differ by configuration and retailer.

The Edge 70 Max’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is the higher-tier named platform compared with the Neo 10’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. That gives Motorola the stronger-looking spec-sheet position, but chip names alone cannot establish actual game frame rates, sustained performance or heat under load.

Motorola says the Edge 70 Max has a 5500mm vapor chamber and describes it as dissipating heat faster than standard cooling technology. It also claims CPU performance improves by 36%, GPU performance by 11% and NPU performance by 46% over the previous generation. These are Motorola’s claims; the announcement does not provide benchmark methodology in the material cited here. They are not direct Neo 10 comparisons.
91mobiles lists Geekbench multi-core scores of 8,890 for the Edge 70 Max and 6,913 for the Neo 10. Those are the publisher’s listed results, not a same-lab test established here with fully specified methods and configurations. Treat them as an indicative comparison, not a guarantee of how either phone will perform in a particular game or after a long session.

91mobiles reports 144Hz refresh rates for both phones, but that figure is not confirmed in the cited official specification excerpts. Refresh rate, brightness, panel shape and regional variants may matter to your decision, so check the exact local model before buying rather than relying on a comparison listing alone.
Battery capacity and charging: faster wired or wireless?
The listed battery capacities are close: iQOO specifies 7000mAh typical capacity, while Motorola specifies a 7100mAh silicon-carbon battery. Motorola advertises up to 73 hours of battery life, describing the estimate as approximate and dependent on optimal network conditions and other factors. That vendor estimate is not directly comparable with an independent test of another phone.

For wired charging, the Neo 10’s rated 120W is higher than the Edge 70 Max’s 90W. Wattage is a specification, not a promise of a particular charge time; actual results depend on factors including charger, cable, temperature and charging conditions. Motorola also specifies 25W magnetic Qi2 wireless charging. The cited iQOO product page does not state wireless charging, so confirm the feature for the precise Neo 10 model and region rather than assuming it is present.
91mobiles lists battery-test durations of 15 hours 39 minutes for the Neo 10 and 16 hours 38 minutes for the Edge 70 Max. Those are publisher-reported results; check its test method and the tested device configurations before treating the difference as predictive of your own use.

What is the price difference?
The available prices do not establish a reliable, like-for-like gap. At the time reflected in the cited pages, iQOO’s India store showed ₹43,999 for a selected 8GB+256GB Neo 10 configuration, while iQOO’s comparison page showed ₹40,999 for a 12GB+256GB configuration. 91mobiles showed an Amazon offer of ₹53,742 for the Edge 70 Max and listed the Neo 10 at ₹32,990 but out of stock. These figures differ in configuration, seller and stock status, and are snapshots rather than guaranteed current prices.
For a fair comparison, check the price on the day you buy for the same RAM and storage tier where available. Verify seller, stock, warranty, local model and included accessories. The cited India prices also should not be treated as prices for other countries.

The cited iQOO page lists Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, but does not state a support duration. Motorola lists Android 16 and says the Edge 70 Max receives up to three years of OS updates and security updates until July 2031. That makes Motorola’s published support schedule clearer on these sources; it does not establish that iQOO offers less support in every market. Check the current policy for the country and model you intend to buy.
Which one should you buy?
- Consider the Motorola Edge 70 Max if you prioritize its higher-resolution display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, Qi2 wireless charging or its stated security-update horizon. Confirm that the EMEA-sheet specifications match the version sold in your market.
- Consider the iQOO Neo 10 if 120W wired charging, a 7000mAh typical-capacity battery and a wider listed choice of RAM/storage configurations suit your priorities. Compare the exact India configuration and current seller terms.
- For gaming, treat Motorola’s chipset as a paper advantage rather than a proven real-world win: there is no controlled head-to-head gaming test established here.
- For price, compare same-day offers for matching storage and RAM, not the mismatched snapshots above.
