The iQOO 15R is the stronger pick on published performance, battery capacity and charging specifications; the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro stands out for its larger display and a periscope telephoto camera. Neither is the automatic choice for everyone. Pick based on the features you will use, and check same-storage prices before deciding: an online comparison showed a ₹7,041 difference, but the listed offers were not confirmed as like-for-like.
At a glance: the main trade-offs
| Priority | What the available specifications indicate |
|---|---|
| Performance | iQOO lists Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. 91mobiles lists Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for Nothing; that Nothing detail is secondary-source reporting. |
| Battery and charging | iQOO lists a 7,600mAh typical battery and 100W charging. 91mobiles lists 5,400mAh and 50W for Nothing; those figures need confirmation against Nothing’s complete official specification sheet. |
| Display size | iQOO’s official page confirms a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. 91mobiles lists a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display for Nothing. |
| Rear cameras | iQOO officially lists a 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide camera. Nothing advertises a three-camera system and 140x ultra zoom; 91mobiles lists a periscope telephoto camera with up to 3.5x optical zoom. |
| Displayed online prices | 91mobiles displayed ₹53,990 for iQOO and ₹46,949 for Nothing when accessed in 2026. The ₹7,041 difference is a snapshot, not an official or configuration-matched price comparison. |
Manufacturer specifications and retailer prices are different kinds of evidence. iQOO’s figures below come from its India product page; the detailed Nothing figures and both displayed prices come from 91mobiles’ comparison page. Nothing’s official India product page confirms some product features but does not expose a complete specification table in the available page text.

How do performance and everyday use compare?
iQOO lists the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the 15R, alongside 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. 91mobiles lists the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. On those published chipset specifications, iQOO is the performance-oriented choice, particularly if demanding games or intensive apps are central to your decision.
That is a comparison of listed hardware, not proof of a specific speed difference in real use. The comparison page includes benchmark and battery-test figures, but the test methodology and independent verification are not established here, so those numbers are not a sound basis for a definitive performance verdict.

iQOO identifies OriginOS 6.0 on its India specification page. Nothing’s official page describes Nothing OS with Essential AI tools. The available information does not establish a like-for-like software-support duration or update schedule, so compare the manufacturers’ current support terms directly if years of updates are important to you.
Which phone has the better display?
The Nothing phone has the larger screen in the available comparison: 6.83 inches versus 6.59 inches for iQOO. iQOO confirms a 1.5K AMOLED panel at 2750 × 1260 on its official page; 91mobiles lists a 1.5K AMOLED panel for Nothing.
For reading, video and other screen-heavy use, the extra size may make Nothing more appealing. The trade-off is a larger handset footprint. Refresh-rate details are not fully settled by the available material: iQOO’s official page gives 130Hz for normal scenes and 360Hz gaming touch sampling, while 91mobiles lists 144Hz. Those are not interchangeable measures, so no single refresh-rate figure is used here as a direct advantage.

What are the camera differences?
iQOO 15R
iQOO officially lists a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main rear camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, plus a 32MP front camera. Its published rear-camera configuration provides a main and ultra-wide option; the listed specifications do not include a dedicated periscope telephoto camera.
Nothing Phone (4a) Pro
Nothing’s official India page advertises a three-camera Sony-sensor system and 140x ultra zoom. That 140x figure is a brand-marketed ultra-zoom claim, not the same thing as optical zoom. 91mobiles lists a 50MP main camera with up to 2x optical zoom, a 50MP periscope camera with up to 3.5x optical zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera. Treat those detailed camera specifications as secondary-source information until confirmed against Nothing’s full official spec sheet.
If you want a dedicated telephoto camera for distant subjects, the Nothing configuration described by 91mobiles is the more relevant one to investigate. If you mainly need a conventional main-and-ultra-wide pairing, iQOO’s official specification is clearer. Camera megapixels and zoom labels alone do not establish which phone takes better photos.

Battery, charging and connectivity
iQOO publishes a 7,600mAh typical battery and 100W charging for the 15R. The comparison page lists a 5,400mAh battery and 50W charging for Nothing, but those Nothing figures are not confirmed by the official page information available here. Treat this as a specification-led advantage for iQOO, not a promise of a particular number of hours or charging time.
iQOO also lists Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and dual nano-SIM support. Comparable Nothing connectivity details are not established in the available sources. Check the exact regional specification if a particular wireless standard, SIM arrangement or other feature is essential.
What is the price difference in India?
When accessed in 2026, 91mobiles displayed ₹53,990 for the iQOO 15R and ₹46,949 for the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, both associated with Amazon listings. Subtracting those displayed prices gives ₹7,041, with Nothing lower in that snapshot.

The iQOO Community has also reported earlier launch and sale pricing, but a historical sale is not evidence of today’s price.

Choose the iQOO 15R if
- You give priority to the stronger listed chipset and want up to 12GB RAM or 512GB storage.
- You value the larger published battery capacity and faster listed charging.
- You want a main camera plus an ultra-wide and do not require a dedicated periscope camera based on the specifications available here.
- You need listed Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 or dual nano-SIM support.
Choose the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro if
- You prefer a larger 6.83-inch display, as listed by 91mobiles.
- A periscope telephoto camera and optical zoom are higher priorities than the iQOO’s published battery and charging figures.
- You are drawn to Nothing OS and its advertised Essential AI tools.
- The current offer for the exact storage configuration you want is lower after you verify the retailer listing.
The clearest evidence-based distinction is straightforward: iQOO’s official specifications emphasize performance, capacity and charging, while Nothing’s product messaging and secondary-listed camera details point to a larger-screen, telephoto-oriented alternative. Verify Nothing’s full specifications and compare live, matching-configuration prices before purchase.
