In India, the iQOO 15R’s listed strengths are its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, larger 7,600mAh battery and 100W wired charging; the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G lists a larger 6.8-inch display, four 50MP rear cameras including a telephoto lens, and wireless charging. The right choice depends on whether you value those hardware priorities or Motorola’s broader camera coverage. The prices below are listing snapshots, not guaranteed checkout prices, and neither phone’s real-world camera quality, battery life or sustained gaming performance has been independently tested here.

| Phone | Configuration and listed price | Retailer and source |
|---|---|---|
| iQOO 15R | 8GB RAM + 256GB storage: ₹53,999 on iQOO’s India store; ₹53,990 on Amazon in the 91mobiles comparison. These are listing snapshots, not guaranteed transaction prices. | iQOO India store; 91mobiles comparison |
| Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G | 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: ₹47,999 on Motorola India’s catalog, which also displays an MRP of ₹84,999; ₹47,999 on Flipkart in the 91mobiles comparison. These are listing snapshots, not guaranteed transaction prices. | Motorola India catalog; 91mobiles comparison |
Because the iQOO prices come from different listings and the configurations or timing may differ, the figures do not establish a precise current price gap. Recheck the exact RAM/storage variant, seller, and final checkout total rather than treating the catalog MRP or a comparison-page offer as a guaranteed price. Motorola’s India catalog styles the name as “motorola edge 70 pro plus”; 91mobiles renders it as “Motorola Edge 70 Pro + 5G.”

Which phone is better for gaming and performance?
The listed chipsets give the iQOO 15R a clear spec-sheet performance emphasis: iQOO names Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while 91mobiles lists Dimensity 8500 Extreme for Motorola. That alone does not settle which phone sustains higher performance during long gaming sessions. Cooling, software, game settings and thermal behavior matter, and no independent sustained-performance test is available here.
As one third-party data point, 91mobiles reports AnTuTu scores of 3,078,708 for the iQOO 15R and 2,217,003 for the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G on its comparison page, accessed in 2026. Those are reported benchmark results, not tests reproduced here or a guarantee of game frame rates. Choose iQOO if the named platform and reported benchmark are the stronger factors for you; look for sustained gaming tests of the exact Indian variants if that is the deciding criterion.

Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
iQOO lists a 7,600mAh typical battery and 100W charging. 91mobiles lists 6,500mAh for Motorola, along with 90W wired charging and wireless charging. The iQOO specification favors capacity and wired charging rate on paper, while Motorola is the only one of the two with wireless charging listed in this comparison.

Battery capacity and charging ratings do not establish screen-on time or the time needed for a full charge; those depend on usage and charging conditions. 91mobiles reports PCMark battery-test results of 18 hours 23 minutes for iQOO and 14 hours 11 minutes for Motorola on its comparison page accessed in 2026. Treat these as that outlet’s test results, not a prediction of your daily runtime.

Display: larger Motorola screen, different listed resolution
Motorola’s listed 6.8-inch display is larger than the iQOO 15R’s 6.59-inch panel. 91mobiles gives Motorola’s resolution as 1,272 × 2,772 and calls its screen “Extreme AMOLED”; iQOO specifies a 1.5K AMOLED display. The figures and labels come from different listings, so they do not by themselves establish which panel looks better, is brighter outdoors, or is more color-accurate.
Camera comparison: Motorola lists more focal options
The key difference is lens coverage. iQOO lists a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Motorola’s listed rear system adds a 50MP ultra-wide/macro and a 50MP telephoto camera with up to 3.5× optical zoom alongside its 50MP primary camera. It also lists a 50MP front camera, compared with iQOO’s 32MP front camera.

That makes Motorola the more versatile listed setup if you specifically want a dedicated telephoto lens for distant subjects or a broader choice of rear-camera perspectives. Megapixel counts and lens options do not show which phone produces better photos or video; that depends on image processing and real-world results, which have not been independently tested here.
Software support and what comes in the box
91mobiles reports four years of OS updates and six years of security updates for iQOO, versus three years and five years respectively for Motorola. These support figures are third-party comparison data, not confirmed here against current manufacturer policy. Check the current policy for the exact Indian model before making a long-term ownership decision.
iQOO’s India store says the iQOO 15R box includes a phone case and charger. The captured material does not establish Motorola’s in-box contents for the exact Indian SKU; check the retailer’s listing or the package details for the specific variant rather than assuming it includes—or omits—the same accessories.
