Price difference: what the listings actually show
When accessed on 3 October 2026, 91mobiles displayed the iQOO 15R at ₹53,990 on Amazon and the Motorola Edge 70 Pro 5G at ₹39,999 on Flipkart. Subtracting those displayed prices gives ₹13,991. Performance and gaming
iQOO specifies a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while Motorola lists the Dimensity 8500 Extreme, rated by Motorola at up to 3.4 GHz. The platform names make the iQOO the more performance-oriented option on paper, but they are not a controlled comparison of sustained speed, heat or game frame rates. Neither chipset specification alone tells you how a particular game will perform over a long session.

91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core results of 9,090 for the iQOO 15R and 6,864 for the Motorola Edge 70 Pro 5G. It does not establish the conditions or repeatability behind those figures in the reviewed comparison, so regard them as results from that source rather than guaranteed scores for every device. The page also presents a separate AnTuTu result set; do not compare or combine scores from different benchmark methods as if they measured the same thing. Choose based on preferred screen size and the complete display experience rather than treating the headline brightness numbers as directly comparable test results.
Battery and charging
iQOO lists a 7,600 mAh battery and 100 W FlashCharge; Motorola lists 6,500 mAh and 90 W wired charging. iQOO therefore leads on rated capacity and charging wattage. Those specifications do not establish how long either phone lasts in your use or how quickly it charges under the same conditions.

Both manufacturers list a 50 MP OIS main camera: iQOO names a Sony LYT-700V sensor, and Motorola names a Sony LYTIA 710. That makes Motorola’s listed ultrawide and selfie resolutions higher, but megapixels alone do not establish detail, colour, low-light performance, autofocus reliability or video quality. The cited material does not provide a controlled photo or video comparison, so choose based on camera configuration rather than assuming one phone takes better pictures.

Durability and software support
Motorola’s specification page lists IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD 810H. These are manufacturer-listed ratings; check the product documentation for the exact conditions and limitations of each claim. A comparable protection rating was not established in the reviewed iQOO material, which is not proof that the iQOO has no protection rating.
Motorola says the Edge 70 Pro receives up to three years of OS upgrades and security patches. 91mobiles reports four years of OS updates and six years of security updates for the iQOO 15R, but that duration is secondary-source information here; confirm iQOO’s official support policy before treating it as a deciding advantage. Motorola’s specifications page notes that specifications may vary by market.
Which phone should you buy?
- Pick the iQOO 15R provisionally if the listed Snapdragon platform, 7,600 mAh battery and 100 W charging best match your priorities. Confirm the exact model configuration and verify update support with iQOO if support length matters to you.
- Pick the Motorola Edge 70 Pro 5G provisionally if you prefer a larger display, the listed 50 MP ultrawide and front cameras, and Motorola’s documented IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD 810H claims.
- Let price decide only after checking equivalent listings. The observed ₹13,991 gap compares different retailers and does not confirm matching RAM and storage. Compare the same configuration, seller terms and live offers.
Neither specification sheet establishes sustained gaming performance, comparative photo quality or everyday battery life. If those are your deciding factors, the listed hardware can narrow the choice, but the reported figures should not substitute for a controlled, like-for-like test.
