On the specifications listed by their manufacturers, the POCO F9 Ultra leads in maximum refresh rate and battery capacity, while the iQOO 15 has the higher listed display resolution. Both pages name the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. There is no reliable universal price difference: it depends on your country, storage tier, seller and purchase date, so compare local like-for-like listings before deciding.
At a glance: iQOO 15 vs POCO F9 Ultra
The specifications below come from iQOO global and India pages and POCO pages for the UAE and Philippines. They are not a guarantee that every regional variant has the same hardware or software.

What the price difference means for your purchase
A fair comparison requires the same country, storage tier, currency, tax basis and purchase date. The official product pages cited here establish specifications, not a matched pair of prices, so they do not support a current price delta. Scraped comparison-site snippets without a confirmed region and configuration are not a dependable substitute for local listings.

Availability and warranty coverage may also differ by market.
Display: resolution versus refresh rate
iQOO 15: higher listed resolution
The iQOO global page lists a 3168 × 1440 resolution, compared with 2608 × 1200 for the POCO. That gives the iQOO the higher stated pixel count; it does not, by itself, establish that every viewer will see a meaningful difference in everyday use.

POCO F9 Ultra: higher maximum refresh rate
POCO lists a maximum of 185Hz, while iQOO lists up to 144Hz. These are manufacturer ratings, not proof that apps or games will run at those rates consistently or that the POCO will feel proportionally smoother. The rounded diagonal labels also overstate the apparent size gap: POCO says its 6.9-inch figure corresponds to about 6.85 inches measured as a full rectangle.
Battery and charging: listed capacity is not endurance
The POCO’s listed typical capacity is 8050 mAh versus 7000 mAh for the iQOO. That is a specification advantage, not a measured runtime result. Screen settings, software, network conditions and usage can affect how long a phone lasts, and the available figures do not establish which one runs longer in real use.

- Emergency SOS via satellite. Crash Detection. Roadside Assistance via satellite
- Up to 26 hours video playback. USB C, Supports USB 2. Face ID
Both phones have a listed 100W wired charging figure in the cited sources. Wireless charging is less straightforward: the POCO UAE page lists 50W, while iQOO’s India page lists 40W and its global page lists 100W charging without the same wireless detail. Verify the exact regional model and charging method rather than treating those entries as a global, like-for-like comparison.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Cameras and audio: specifications do not settle quality
The iQOO India page documents three 50MP rear cameras: main, ultra-wide and periscope. POCO’s FAQ documents a 200MP main camera and a 50MP 5× telephoto camera. These are not complete, directly matched camera specifications, and megapixel counts alone cannot tell you which phone takes better photos. Look for independent reviews that compare both phones in the same scenes and conditions before choosing on camera quality.

POCO’s FAQ also describes its phone as having 2.1-channel audio tuned with Bose and an independent subwoofer. The iQOO sources cited here make no comparable audio claim, so the available documentation does not establish an audio winner.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWhich phone should you choose?
- Consider the POCO F9 Ultra if its higher listed refresh rate, larger typical battery, or documented wireless charging are priorities. Those specifications do not guarantee a smoother experience or longer runtime.
- Consider the iQOO 15 if you prefer its higher listed display resolution or the India-page camera configuration, which includes a listed ultra-wide camera alongside main and periscope cameras.
- Let local price and support decide if the features matter equally. Compare the same storage tier and verify that the variant is officially available with suitable warranty coverage in your market.
The shared chipset name does not distinguish these listings, and the specifications alone cannot establish benchmark results, sustained gaming performance or overall value. POCO’s F9 Series launch page publishes a manufacturer AnTuTu V11 score, but that claim is not an independent, matched test of these two phones and is not a sound basis for declaring a performance winner.
