The OnePlus 15R has the higher advertised refresh rate and a slightly larger battery. Neither specification sheet establishes which phone lasts longer, takes better photos, or sustains gaming performance better. For India buyers, the price comparison also depends on the exact RAM and storage variant, seller, and date.

India price difference: compare the same variant
Prices observed on 7 October 2026 are not a clean like-for-like comparison. The iQOO India E-Store displayed ₹85,999 for the iQOO 15 12GB+256GB, against a listed MRP of ₹92,999. This is an observed store listing, not a guaranteed continuing offer.

Smartprix’s comparison page, last updated 3 October 2026, showed observed lowest prices of ₹76,376 for the iQOO 15 and ₹59,999 for the OnePlus 15R. These entries do not guarantee the same seller, storage configuration, or checkout price as the iQOO official-store listing.

Display: sharper resolution or faster refresh?
The iQOO 15’s listed 3168 × 1440 resolution is higher than the OnePlus 15R’s 1.5K panel, while OnePlus advertises up to 165Hz against iQOO’s 144Hz. Resolution affects the amount of displayed detail; refresh rate describes how often the screen can update. These are distinct advantages, not a single measure of display quality.

OnePlus notes that game-specific features and availability can vary. A 165Hz maximum does not mean every app or game displays at 165 frames per second. The product specifications alone do not establish which screen looks better in everyday use.
Cameras: iQOO offers a dedicated 3x periscope
The main distinction is the rear-camera lineup. iQOO lists three 50MP rear cameras, including a dedicated 3x periscope telephoto alongside the main and ultrawide cameras. OnePlus lists a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultrawide, without a separate telephoto camera in its listed system. That gives iQOO a more varied set of stated focal options; megapixel counts and camera hardware do not by themselves prove better photographs.

Both list a 32MP front camera; OnePlus specifies autofocus for its selfie camera. The available product specifications do not establish a controlled camera-quality winner between these phones.

The OnePlus 15R lists a 7400mAh battery, compared with 7000mAh for the iQOO 15. The iQOO specification page also lists 100W wired FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging; OnePlus lists 80W wired SUPERVOOC.

OnePlus reports that its own laboratory observed a charge from 1% to 50% in around 23 minutes using the official 80W adapter with the screen off, under its stated test conditions. This is manufacturer test data, not an independent head-to-head result. Capacity and charging wattage do not establish comparative battery life or total charging time under everyday use.

The official product pages list OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 for iQOO 15 and OxygenOS 16 for OnePlus 15R. Those labels identify the software stated on the pages; they are not a complete comparison of update duration or long-term support terms.
iQOO’s official community announcement describes the iQOO 15 as IP68/IP69 rated. OnePlus lists multiple IP ratings on its product page, with qualifications tied to the product and market. Check each manufacturer’s detailed regional terms for the exact protection rating and conditions before relying on it. The available specifications do not establish a broader durability winner.
Which should you choose?
Choose the iQOO 15 if
- You prioritize a higher-resolution display over the highest listed refresh rate.
- A dedicated 3x periscope camera and broader rear-camera hardware matter to you.
- You want the stated option of wireless charging.
Choose the OnePlus 15R if
- You prefer its higher advertised 165Hz maximum refresh rate.
- You value its larger listed battery capacity.
- You are comparing verified, matching-variant listings and its actual price is more attractive for your needs.
Neither choice can be called the measured winner for battery endurance, camera results, thermals, or sustained gaming on the available evidence. Treat those as unresolved real-world differences rather than conclusions from the spec sheet.
