Neither is a universal winner. For India, an iQOO 15 12GB+256GB listing displayed ₹85,999 when checked in October 2026, but a matching current Galaxy S24 Ultra price was not established, so a reliable price difference cannot be calculated.
At a glance: iQOO 15 vs Galaxy S24 Ultra
The figures below are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent measurements. The phones’ display and battery figures use manufacturers’ own descriptions, so they should not be treated as perfectly equivalent test results.

How do the displays differ?
iQOO lists a 6.85-inch, 3168 × 1440 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. Samsung lists a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with an adaptive 1–120 Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster. The screen-size and resolution descriptions come from each manufacturer; their naming conventions are not identical.
#1 Best Overall
- This device is locked to Boost Mobile only and not compatible with any other carrier.
- No signs of cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.) will be visible when the product is held 30 centimeters away.
- This product will have a battery that exceeds 80% capacity relative to new.
- Accessories may not be original, but will be compatible and fully functional. Product may come in generic box.
- This product is eligible for a replacement or refund within 1-Year of receipt if it does not look like new or work as expected.
iQOO also advertises up to 6000-nit local peak brightness and 2600-nit global brightness. Those are manufacturer claims with different brightness descriptions, not directly interchangeable figures or independent measurements. The listed refresh-rate ceiling favors iQOO on paper, while Samsung specifies an adaptive range. Neither specification by itself establishes overall display quality or what a user will see in every condition.
Which phone offers more camera reach?
The clearest hardware distinction is the telephoto arrangement. Samsung lists separate 3x and 5x optical telephoto cameras, alongside a 200 MP wide camera and 12 MP ultra-wide. iQOO lists a 50 MP 3x periscope camera, a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP ultra-wide.
That gives the S24 Ultra two specified optical telephoto options rather than the iQOO’s one listed 3x periscope. It may suit someone who often frames distant subjects at different telephoto ranges. Megapixel counts and lens specifications alone do not establish which phone takes better photos; this comparison does not include a controlled camera test.

Battery capacity and charging: what the figures establish
iQOO gives the iQOO 15 a 7000 mAh typical battery capacity and 6830 mAh rated capacity. Samsung lists 5000 mAh typical capacity and 4855 mAh rated minimum for the S24 Ultra. Capacity figures are not a battery-life ranking: actual endurance depends on usage, settings, network conditions and other factors.
For wired charging, iQOO lists 100 W FlashCharge and Samsung lists up to 45 W. These are manufacturer specifications, not a measure here of how long either phone takes to charge in practice. iQOO’s India store listing includes a charger and case in the package; Samsung says its 45 W adapter is sold separately. Package contents can vary by market or listing, so check the exact version being purchased. The iQOO India store also lists 40 W wireless charging; Samsung lists Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wireless PowerShare.
Software, durability and everyday fit
Platform and software context
iQOO’s current global parameter page lists Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Android 16 and OriginOS 6. Samsung specifies Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, while its 2024 launch material listed Android 14 and One UI 6.1 at launch. That launch-era software detail should not be mistaken for the S24 Ultra’s current installed version. Check the seller’s regional product information and the phone itself for current software details before buying.

Water resistance and handling
iQOO lists IP68 and IP69 ratings. Samsung lists IP68 and describes its lab-tested freshwater condition as up to 1.5 m for up to 30 minutes; its launch notes advise against beach or pool use. These ratings and qualifications do not make either phone suitable for every exposure to water or dust.

Software ecosystem and use habits
The S24 Ultra may fit more naturally if you already use Galaxy software and services or want an S Pen workflow. The practical details of included accessories and software can depend on region and package, so verify them on the current local product listing. For either phone, check warranty coverage and network-band compatibility for your country as well as what is included in the box.

What is the price difference in India?
The iQOO India store listing inspected in October 2026 displayed ₹85,999 for the 12GB+256GB iQOO 15, against a listed MRP of ₹92,999. This is a time-sensitive store snapshot, not a guaranteed checkout price; selected color, variant and offer may affect the displayed amount.
A current Samsung India price for a matching S24 Ultra storage tier was not established, so there is no reliable current price difference to report. Compare the two phones on the same date, in the same market and at the same storage capacity, using new-device prices and checking seller, condition, offers and financing separately. Do not compare an MRP with an offer price or treat a launch promotion as a current selling price.
For context only, an iQOO community launch recap dated November 2025 reported launch offers of ₹64,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹71,999 for 16GB+512GB, with sales beginning December 1, 2025. These are historical launch offers, not current prices. Samsung Newsroom India reported up to ₹22,000 in pre-booking benefits for the S24 Ultra and S24+ at launch in 2024; that was a benefit, not the phone’s current price.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the iQOO 15 if its listed up-to-144 Hz display, larger stated battery, faster wired charging or newer listed platform better matches your priorities. These are specification differences, not verified speed or endurance results.
- Consider the Galaxy S24 Ultra if the separate 3x and 5x optical telephoto options suit the way you frame subjects, or its Galaxy ecosystem and S Pen workflow matter to you.
- Compare live prices before deciding if value is the deciding factor. Use matching storage, market, purchase condition and offer terms; the available India listing does not establish a current price gap.
Also account for display size and handling, accessories, warranty and local network support. The published specifications identify the trade-offs, but do not establish a universal winner or comparative real-world performance.
