The iQOO 13 is the stronger fit on paper for a high-refresh display, gaming-focused hardware and fast wired charging. The iPhone 16 Plus is the natural choice if you want Apple’s A18 and iOS platform. In India, iQOO’s store displayed ₹61,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹66,999 for 16GB+512GB, but those variants showed as unavailable. A current iPhone 16 Plus India price was not verified, so an exact price difference cannot be stated responsibly.

Which display and processor suit your use?
iQOO 13: higher refresh rate and gaming hardware
iQOO lists a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO display with refresh rates up to 144 Hz, along with Snapdragon 8 Elite and a Q2 supercomputing chip for gaming features. It also advertises a 7K VC cooling system. Those specifications point to a phone designed to emphasize responsive visuals and gaming features, but they do not establish frame rates, sustained performance or a benchmark win over the iPhone.
iPhone 16 Plus: Apple’s A18 and iOS
Apple specifies a 6.7-inch OLED display at 2796 × 1290 pixels and 460 ppi. Its A18 includes a 6-core CPU, 5-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. Core counts and manufacturer descriptions are not directly comparable across platforms, so choose this model for its Apple hardware and software environment rather than an assumed performance ranking.

How do the cameras differ?
The iQOO 13 has three 50 MP rear cameras in the India product overview. Apple lists a 48 MP Fusion main camera and 12 MP ultra-wide camera for iPhone 16 Plus, and says the main camera can provide 2x telephoto framing. The layouts and stated features differ, but megapixel counts alone cannot predict photo quality. The available specifications do not establish a comparative camera winner.
What do the battery and charging figures mean?
iQOO lists 6000 mAh equivalent capacity and 120W FlashCharge for the India model. Its detailed material explains that the capacity is a dual-cell equivalent and warns that actual results vary. Apple instead states up to 27 hours of video playback for iPhone 16 Plus. That is a manufacturer usage claim, not a battery-capacity figure, so it should not be set against 6000 mAh as if the two numbers measured the same thing.
Rank #2
- The larger 6.9-inch display enhances productivity and media consumption, giving extra room for multitasking, side-by-side apps, and immersive viewing without feeling unwieldy in hand.
- Camera improvements focus on ultra-wide performance, capturing more detail at the edges of the frame and reducing distortion, making landscape shots, group photos, and architecture photography cleaner.
- Refined gesture controls and haptic feedback make interactions feel more precise, so scrolling, tapping, or switching between apps is smoother and more satisfying compared to previous Plus models.
- Audio enhancements optimize speaker output for spatial awareness, delivering clearer separation between instruments and voices in music, video playback, and FaceTime calls without relying on headphones.
- Durable yet lightweight materials balance heft and portability, with a subtly textured back and reinforced edges that improve grip while maintaining the premium appearance expected from the Plus series.
Apple says fast charging can reach about 50% in around 30 minutes when used with specified adapters and cables, which are sold separately. iQOO’s 120W figure is a charging rating; neither rating alone establishes real-world charging time under all conditions.

A current India price for the iPhone 16 Plus was not established. Apple’s available India buy-page result was for the iPhone 16, a different model, and cannot be used to calculate the Plus model’s price gap. Apple’s technical specifications confirm 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options but do not provide a current India price. Before comparing, check the same storage tier and compare final payable prices, including any applicable offers or taxes.

- Choose iQOO 13 if a 144 Hz maximum refresh rate, gaming-oriented hardware, a larger stated battery capacity or 120W wired charging matter most to you—and you are comfortable with Funtouch OS.
- Choose iPhone 16 Plus if you want the A18/iOS platform, prefer Apple’s camera feature set, or value using the phone within Apple’s software ecosystem.
- Wait to compare prices if cost is the deciding factor. The iQOO store figures are displayed prices for variants that showed unavailable, and a current iPhone 16 Plus India price is not established here.
For either phone, verify current regional software and feature availability. Apple notes that Apple Intelligence availability varies by region, language and software state. Resistance ratings also have limits: iQOO says its device is not a professional waterproof phone, while Apple’s IP68 depth and duration are controlled-laboratory conditions and resistance may decrease with wear.
