For flagship-class performance and a sharper, faster display, the iQOO 13 has the stronger specification sheet. The India-market OPPO Reno16 5G stands out for its listed 3.5x telephoto camera and larger battery capacity. This comparison is specifically between the iQOO 13 sold in India and OPPO Reno16 5G model CPH2865 in India—not the Reno16c, Reno16 Pro, or a Reno16 variant sold elsewhere.
The price figures are not a current, like-for-like comparison: OPPO’s prices are dated 31 August 2026, while iQOO’s are launch prices from 2024. Check the live price and exact configuration before buying.

Which phone has better performance and display specifications?
The iQOO 13 leads on the published chipset and display figures. Its Snapdragon 8 Elite is a higher-tier chipset than the Reno16’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and its 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel has a higher listed resolution and maximum refresh rate. That makes the iQOO the more compelling spec-sheet pick for buyers prioritizing demanding games or display detail. It does not establish a measured speed difference or guarantee a particular experience in a specific game.
Refresh rate is a maximum specification, not a promise that every app or setting runs at that rate. The experience also depends on the content, software and display settings. For buyers choosing primarily on image quality, compare independent testing and examples viewed on the actual phones rather than relying on resolution or refresh rate alone.

iQOO’s India specifications page says the 12GB + 256GB edition currently uses UFS 4.0 and is scheduled to receive an OTA upgrade to UFS 4.1. Treat that note as specific to the stated edition and check the product or current software details for the device being sold.

How do their cameras differ?
Both phones list three 50MP rear cameras. OPPO specifically identifies the Reno16’s telephoto as 3.5x optical telephoto, making that reach its clearest camera distinction in this comparison. iQOO lists a 50MP telephoto but the cited specifications do not state an equivalent zoom figure.

- Slim and Lightweight Design: Slim profile with durable TPU material provides everyday protection without adding bulk
- Shockproof and Scratch Resistant: Flexible TPU construction absorbs shocks and protects your device from drops, impacts, and scratches
- Precise Cutouts and Easy Access: Designed with accurate cutouts for effortless access to all ports, buttons, and cameras
- Screen Protector Friendly: Compatible with most screen protectors, featuring soft flexible edges that prevent lifting or bubbling
- Camera Lens Protection and Good Grip: Raised edges protect camera lenses from scratches while soft texture ensures a secure comfortable grip
Megapixel counts and lens labels do not establish which phone takes better photos. If telephoto images matter, compare sample photos from the exact models—especially in the lighting and zoom range you use most. The specifications alone cannot settle image processing, low-light results, or consistency.
Battery capacity versus charging speed
OPPO lists a 6700mAh battery for the India Reno16, while iQOO describes the iQOO 13 as having 6000mAh equivalent typical capacity (5870mAh rated equivalent). That gives OPPO the higher listed capacity, but real endurance also depends on screen use, connectivity, software and other conditions.

| iQOO 13, 16GB + 512GB | ₹59,999 launch price in 2024 | iQOO India Community |
Subtracting those cited figures gives a historical listed-price gap of ₹12,000 between Reno16 8GB + 256GB and iQOO 13 12GB + 256GB, and ₹13,000 between Reno16 12GB + 256GB and iQOO 13 16GB + 512GB. Neither pair matches RAM, and the second also differs in storage. The dates are nearly two years apart, so the arithmetic is not a current price premium or a like-for-like value comparison. OPPO’s page also shows list prices of ₹89,999 and ₹99,999 for its two configurations; live offers and transaction prices can change.
For a real buying decision, compare same-day prices for the exact RAM and storage variants available from sellers in India. OPPO says pricing and availability vary by market; its India price should not be applied to other countries or Reno16 variants.
Which should you choose?
- Choose the iQOO 13 on paper if your priority is the higher-tier chipset, higher-resolution display, or higher maximum refresh rate.
- Consider the OPPO Reno16 if its specifically listed 3.5x telephoto, larger stated battery capacity, or available configuration better fits your priorities.
- Compare current local pricing before deciding on value: the available India configurations differ, and the cited prices come from different dates.
- Check software support for the exact SKU if update longevity is important. The listed OS versions do not establish an update-support duration.
Water-resistance ratings are manufacturer claims, not a guarantee against damage. iQOO explicitly cautions that the iQOO 13 is not a professional waterproof phone; do not treat either rating as permission to expose a phone to water.
