Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThe iQOO 13 5G remains a compelling choice for buyers in India who put speed, display quality and battery life ahead of long-range zoom or a minimalist interface. Its Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 6.82-inch high-resolution 144Hz-class display, 6000mAh typical-equivalent battery and 120W wired charging make a strong performance package. Its 2x telephoto camera, preinstalled apps and lack of eSIM are meaningful compromises. Whether it is a good buy in 2026 depends on the actual price and availability in your market—not its launch-era positioning.

The product page cautions that specifications may change between batches, so check the exact unit and software status before buying.
Weight and thickness depend on finish. iQOO lists Alpha at 207g and 7.99mm, and Legend and Nardo Grey at 213g and 8.13mm; these figures apply to the listed India editions, not necessarily every regional variant.

Performance: fast in use, with an important stress-test caveat
The Snapdragon 8 Elite gives the iQOO 13 flagship-class processing hardware, but independent review findings offer more useful context than the chipset name alone. In its two-week daily-driver review, 91mobiles reported smooth general use and gaming. GSMArena praised sustained performance under high loads.
There is a qualification: in 91mobiles’ extreme synthetic Burnout test, the iQOO and the Realme competitor both dropped below half of their peak performance. That is an intensive stress-test result, not a forecast that ordinary apps or games will run at half speed. It is useful as a reminder that peak benchmark performance and behavior under prolonged maximum load are different measures.

Display and battery: core strengths for demanding use
The 6.82-inch, 3168 × 1440 display pairs high resolution with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz-class, making it a strong fit for sharp text, video and responsive gaming. GSMArena notes that the Realme GT 7 Pro display is brighter, so maximum brightness may matter if you often use a phone outdoors. Compare the screens in person if possible and check the exact regional specifications.
The India model’s battery is rated at 6000mAh typical-equivalent capacity, with 120W wired charging. In 91mobiles’ tests, the phone lasted about 13 hours in PCMark and took 38 minutes to charge from 20% to 100%. Those figures describe that publication’s test conditions, not a guaranteed result for every owner. iQOO says its own lab charging data used the official charger and cable under controlled conditions; actual charging varies with environment and battery wear.

Camera review: useful coverage, but limited zoom reach
The India camera array includes three 50MP rear cameras: a main camera, an ultrawide and a 2x telephoto. Reviewers found the main camera capable in daylight, and 91mobiles reported useful portrait results. The 2x lens provides a dedicated short-telephoto view, but it is not a long-range periscope camera; buyers who regularly photograph distant subjects should treat that reach as a real limitation.
Reviews differ on night photography, particularly for the secondary cameras. GSMArena criticized low-light results from the ultrawide and zoom cameras, while 91mobiles reported more favorable night-mode results in its own tested scenes. These findings are not necessarily contradictory: lighting, subject, camera and processing mode all affect outcomes. The available reviews support a scene-dependent picture, not a universal promise of strong or weak night shots from every camera.

Software, updates and everyday trade-offs
The India product page lists Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. At review time, 91mobiles reported 56 preinstalled apps, including nine third-party apps. That may mean some setup or app removal for buyers who prefer a lean interface. Both 91mobiles and GSMArena report a promise of four Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates. Check current software and support terms for your market and unit before purchase rather than assuming the launch build remains current.

Build and water resistance
The iQOO 13 has IP68/IP69 ratings, but a rating is not a promise that the phone is waterproof. iQOO explicitly says it is not a professional waterproof phone and that resistance is intended for normal use. Avoid deliberate submersion and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance, especially after wear or damage.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Flagship-class Snapdragon 8 Elite performance, with positive sustained-load findings from GSMArena.
- High-resolution display with a high refresh rate.
- Large India-market battery and fast 120W wired charging.
- Capable main and portrait-camera results in daylight.
- IP68/IP69-rated construction, subject to iQOO’s water-resistance limitation.
- Reported commitment of four Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
Cons
- 2x telephoto reach instead of the prior model’s cited 3x periscope camera.
- GSMArena found low-light performance from the ultrawide and zoom cameras weak.
- Preinstalled apps may be unwelcome to buyers seeking a cleaner interface.
- No eSIM, according to GSMArena.
- Some India color options are relatively heavy at 213g.
Is the iQOO 13 still worth buying in 2026?
It can be a sensible buy if its current price is competitive in your country and your priorities are gaming, demanding everyday performance, a sharp high-refresh display and battery life. It is less suitable if long optical zoom, consistent secondary-camera night shots, a streamlined software setup or eSIM are essential.
Compare the iQOO 13 with the Realme GT 7 Pro at the prices actually available to you. GSMArena calls out the Realme’s brighter display, while reviewer camera conclusions vary by tested scene. Check sustained-load behavior, camera reach, update terms, eSIM support, local service and the price of the exact configuration—not launch-era prices.
