Wil je zelf bepalen wat er verdwijnt, tik dan op Annuleer en maak handmatig opslag vrij.
Wat betekent tijdelijk apps verwijderen?
De melding is een ingebouwde optie tijdens een draadloze update. De update haalt tijdelijk apps weg om ruimte te maken. Apple zegt dat de apps na afloop van de installatie automatisch opnieuw worden geïnstalleerd. Zie je de melding en wil je snel verder, kies dan Ga door. Zelf kiezen hoe je ruimte vrijmaakt
Open Instellingen > Algemeen > iPhone-opslag (of de overeenkomstige iPad-opslagweergave) om te bekijken wat ruimte inneemt. Daar kun je apps offloaden of verwijderen. Offloaden en verwijderen zijn dus niet hetzelfde. Of account- of cloudgegevens na het verwijderen van een app beschikbaar blijven, hangt af van de app; ga er niet automatisch van uit dat alles terugkomt als je de app opnieuw downloadt. Apple beschrijft opslagbeheer in de handleiding voor iPhone- en iPad-opslag.

Als de update na het opruimen nog steeds niet lukt
- Open Instellingen > Algemeen > iPhone-opslag of de iPad-opslagweergave en zoek het gedownloade updatebestand in de opslaglijst.
- Verwijder dat updatebestand en download de update opnieuw via Instellingen > Algemeen > Software-update.
- Blijft de update mislukken, probeer dan bijwerken met een Mac of iTunes. Apple noemt dat als vervolgstap bij aanhoudende problemen. Zie If your iPhone or iPad won’t update.
