The global Reno15 Pro listing describes a compact 6.32-inch model; China’s Reno15 Pro page describes a 6.78-inch version. Confirm the local model before comparing specifications or buying.
First, identify which Reno15 Pro you mean
OPPO uses the Reno15 Pro name for regionally different configurations, so a single worldwide spec sheet can be misleading. The global product page lists the 6.32-inch version, while OPPO China’s Reno15 Pro page describes a 6.78-inch model. OPPO India identifies model CPH2811, and OPPO UAE lists CPH2813. OPPO France publishes a regional specifications page that names the MediaTek Dimensity 8450.

For this comparison, the table uses Apple’s iPhone 17 specifications and the compact Reno15 Pro 5G configuration on OPPO’s global product page. Check the model code and local OPPO specifications before applying these details to a phone sold in your country. This is the Reno15 Pro, not the Reno15 Pro Max.

How the screen and size compare
For the specific global Reno15 Pro listing above, the diagonals are close: 6.3 inches for the iPhone 17 and 6.32 inches for the OPPO. Both manufacturers describe high-refresh displays; Apple calls the iPhone’s ProMotion, while OPPO specifies 120Hz adaptive refresh for the global model. The China Reno15 Pro’s listed 6.78-inch screen is a materially different size, so do not use the global comparison for that version.
Camera specs: compare lenses, not just megapixels
The iPhone 17 combines a 48MP main camera with an optical-quality 2x telephoto option and a 48MP ultra-wide camera, as Apple describes it. OPPO’s global Reno15 Pro listing emphasizes a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization and a separate 50MP telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom. Those numbers and lens descriptions indicate different camera configurations, but megapixel counts alone do not show which phone produces better photos.

For selfies, Apple highlights Center Stage and up to 18MP photos from the iPhone’s square-sensor front camera. OPPO lists a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera with an approximately 100° field of view. These are manufacturer descriptions, not the results of a comparable photo test. The cited sources do not establish an image-quality winner or a comparative assessment of video modes.
Performance, software, and battery
Apple lists the A19 chip in the iPhone 17, while OPPO lists ColorOS 16 for the Reno15 series. OPPO’s chipset specification can depend on the regional version; the France page, for example, lists MediaTek Dimensity 8450. The available product information does not establish a comparative benchmark result or how long either phone will receive software updates. Consider which operating system and ecosystem suit your existing devices and apps, and check the support terms for the exact local model.

OPPO states a 6200mAh capacity and 80W SUPERVOOC charging for the global Reno15 Pro. Apple describes the iPhone 17’s battery life as all-day, but the cited announcement does not give a battery capacity or charging wattage. These unlike disclosures are not enough to declare a battery-life winner; no comparable endurance test is established by the cited sources.
Price difference: why there is no reliable figure yet
Apple’s India launch announcement set the iPhone 17 starting price at INR 82,900. That is an India launch figure published in September 2025—not a current price, a global price, or a like-for-like comparison with the OPPO. A matched current Reno15 Pro price for the same market, storage basis, seller, and tax or discount terms is not established here, so calculating a price difference would be misleading.

To compare prices in your country, check both phones on the same date and use the same basis:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute- Confirm the exact Reno15 Pro regional model and the iPhone configuration.
- Compare the same storage capacity where available.
- Use prices from the same market and account for tax, discounts, and seller terms consistently.
- Distinguish a regular retail price from a promotion or carrier installment total.
Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the iPhone 17 if you prefer iOS, Apple’s ecosystem, and the specific camera arrangement and display Apple lists.
- Consider the Reno15 Pro 5G if the local version’s specifications match your needs and you value the listed 3.5x optical telephoto, 6200mAh battery, or 80W charging.
- Compare in person or check local listings carefully if size is a deciding factor: Reno15 Pro screen dimensions differ by region.
Neither manufacturers’ specifications nor the available evidence establish an overall winner for speed, real-world battery endurance, or camera quality. The more useful choice depends on your market’s exact Reno15 Pro variant, your software preference, and a same-date local price comparison.
