The iPhone 17 and OPPO Find X9 both offer 120Hz displays, but they take different approaches to cameras, charging and software. There is no meaningful single price difference to quote from the published launch figures: Apple’s U.S. price and OPPO Singapore’s pre-order price apply to different markets and dates. Compare current local prices and equivalent storage before choosing.

What is the price difference?
The cited launch prices do not provide a like-for-like price gap. Apple announced a U.S. starting price of $799 for the iPhone 17 in 2025. OPPO Singapore announced S$1,299 for the Find X9 during its October 29–November 4, 2025 pre-order window. These are different currencies, markets, dates and retail conditions—not current prices that can be subtracted to produce a useful comparison.

Those figures are not directly comparable: one gives battery capacity and charging ratings, while the other gives a manufacturer-stated playback estimate and a charging claim with an accessory condition. They do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use.
Display, software and durability
Both displays support refresh rates up to 120Hz
Apple specifies a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion adaptive refresh up to 120Hz. OPPO lists a 120Hz display. Their brightness figures—Apple’s claimed peak outdoor brightness of 3000 nits and OPPO’s claimed 3600 nits—come from separate manufacturer specifications, not a shared measurement test.

Which phone should you consider?
- Consider the iPhone 17 if you want iOS, Apple’s ecosystem or its documented camera and video workflow, including Center Stage and 4K60 Dolby Vision.
- Consider the Find X9 if its dedicated periscope telephoto, larger stated battery capacity or higher rated charging speeds fit your priorities.
- Compare local listings before deciding if price is the deciding factor: use the same market, storage class and warranty basis rather than comparing the U.S. iPhone launch price with OPPO’s historical Singapore pre-order figure.
These are feature-based distinctions, not conclusions from hands-on testing. The published specifications do not settle which phone has better cameras, longer real-world battery life or stronger performance.
