What the price difference means in India
Smartprix listed the iPhone 17 at ₹99,900 and the OnePlus Nord 6 at ₹46,999 on a page marked updated October 6, 2026. Subtracting those listings gives a ₹52,901 gap, with the Nord 6 lower in that snapshot. This is a secondary-market listing comparison, not a fixed official price difference: sale offers, stock, seller, and storage configuration can change the amount due at checkout.

Display, size and everyday handling
The Nord 6 has the larger screen at 6.78 inches and the higher listed refresh rate at 165 Hz. That combination is the more relevant fit if you want a broad viewing area and prioritize a fast-refresh display. The iPhone 17’s 6.3-inch OLED and up-to-120-Hz adaptive refresh rate make it the smaller-screen choice of the two. Apple lists its weight as 177 g; the cited Nord page does not provide a weight figure here, so screen size alone cannot settle which phone feels easier to hold.
Battery and charging
OnePlus lists a 9,000 mAh battery and 80 W charging for the Nord 6. Apple’s cited iPhone 17 specification page does not state a comparable battery-capacity number, so a capacity-versus-capacity comparison is not available from these sources. Battery size and charging wattage also do not establish how long either phone lasts in a particular person’s use; OnePlus publishes scenario-specific test claims, not an independent head-to-head result against the iPhone 17.

Camera specifications are not a photo-quality verdict
Apple lists 48 MP main and ultra-wide rear cameras and an 18 MP front camera. OnePlus lists a 50 MP main camera with dual-axis optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32 MP front camera. Those figures describe different hardware choices, but megapixel counts do not show which phone produces better photos or video. No independent, directly comparable camera test is established by the cited sources.
Software, support and durability
The Nord 6 runs Android, and OnePlus states that it will receive four Android OS updates and six years of security updates. Apple’s cited specification page does not give a fixed iPhone 17 update-duration commitment, so these stated support periods should not be treated as a direct like-for-like comparison.

Apple lists the iPhone 17 as IP68-rated. The cited OnePlus product page does not establish a comparable water-resistance rating in the specifications used here. If durability is decisive, check the complete manufacturer specifications for the exact regional model rather than inferring parity from an unstated value.
