The OPPO Reno15 5G is the larger-screen choice, with a 6.59-inch display that supports up to 120Hz, a dedicated telephoto camera and a stated 6,500mAh typical battery. The Apple iPhone 16 is smaller and lighter, and its published specifications include an A18 chip and an IP68 rating. These are manufacturer specifications, not results from matched independent tests; the better fit depends on which features matter most.

Which phone has the bigger screen?
The Reno15 5G has the larger display: 6.59 inches versus 6.1 inches on iPhone 16. OPPO also specifies a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. That higher refresh ceiling can make supported movement appear smoother, but the specifications alone do not establish which display looks better in everyday use. The listed pixel densities are both 460 ppi.

Which has the better camera?
The specifications point to different camera setups, not a proven overall image-quality winner. iPhone 16 combines a 48MP Fusion main camera with a 12MP ultra-wide camera; Apple describes 2× optical zoom in and out through its camera system. The Reno15 5G adds a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera alongside a 50MP wide camera and an 8MP ultra-wide, and OPPO lists up to 3.5× optical video zoom.
Those megapixel and zoom figures do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. No matched camera test or sample comparison is available here, so choose based on the camera roles you want rather than treating resolution as a quality ranking.

Battery, charging and durability
OPPO specifies a 6,500mAh typical battery capacity (6,335mAh rated) and support for up to 80W SUPERVOOC or UFCS charging. Apple’s cited iPhone 16 specifications do not state an mAh capacity or wired charging wattage, so a direct capacity or charging-speed comparison cannot be made from these figures. They also do not establish real-world battery life; no matched endurance test is available.
Apple specifies IP68 water resistance under IEC 60529, to a maximum depth of 6 metres for up to 30 minutes. The cited global OPPO Reno15 page does not provide an IP rating. That omission is not proof that no rating exists for every regional version; check the specifications for the exact model being sold.

Is the iPhone 16 faster than the Reno15?
Apple lists the A18 chip, while OPPO lists the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with Adreno 722 graphics. Those specifications do not settle which phone performs better across apps, games or sustained workloads. No comparable benchmark results are available, so a performance ranking based only on chip names or core counts would be speculative.
What is the price difference?
There is no dependable single price difference without specifying the country, storage tier, seller and date. A Smartprix India comparison surfaced ₹47,999 for the Reno15 5G and ₹69,900 for iPhone 16, but those third-party figures have not been confirmed against live retailer listings or shown to represent matching configurations. Treat them as an indicative comparison, not official or current prices: Smartprix India comparison.

Reno15 configurations and connectivity specifications vary by region. OPPO’s global page identifies the Reno15 5G as model CPH2825 and lists eSIM support. OPPO India’s page says eSIM is unsupported and gives different configuration and network-band details. Confirm the model number, eSIM availability and supported cellular bands with the seller or local OPPO page, then check that the bands match your carrier.

Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose Reno15 5G for the listed hardware priorities: a larger, up-to-120Hz display, a dedicated telephoto camera and a published battery-capacity figure with up-to-80W charging support.
- Choose iPhone 16 for the listed hardware priorities: a smaller, lighter body, Apple’s A18 platform and an explicitly stated IP68 rating.
