Digit reported on 28 September 2026 that Flipkart listed the 128GB iPhone 16 at ₹69,900 ahead of Big Billion Days. Amazon has promoted an iPhone 16 deal for its Great Indian Festival, but its official announcement does not state a price or storage variant. The Flipkart figure is a dated reported listing, not a verified live price.
What does the ₹69,900 Flipkart price include?
Digit’s report dated 28 September 2026 put the 128GB iPhone 16 listing on Flipkart at ₹69,900. The report also described that as ₹20,000 below the Apple India price it cited; that comparison is Digit’s, not an independently verified current Apple price. Digit’s report

The reported ₹69,900 is the listed price before conditional offers. Digit said eligible Flipkart Axis Bank credit card holders could get a further ₹3,495 discount. It also reported up to ₹54,400 in exchange cashback, but that maximum depends on the exchanged device and the retailer’s valuation. Neither amount should be treated as a guaranteed reduction for every buyer.

Has Amazon announced its iPhone 16 sale price?
No price is stated in Amazon’s official Great Indian Festival smartphone announcement: it promotes an iPhone 16 deal without specifying a price or storage capacity. The announcement therefore confirms a promotion, not an Amazon price that can be compared with Flipkart’s reported ₹69,900 listing. Amazon’s iPhone 16 deal announcement

How to compare the two offers fairly
Wait for the live product pages and compare the same storage variant. A headline price may not be the amount you pay: card discounts can have eligibility rules, and exchange cashback depends on the device offered and its assessment. Check these details before deciding:
- Variant: Match storage capacity; Amazon’s cited announcement does not specify one.
- Base price: Compare the live listing price, not a price from a report dated 28 September.
- Card offer: Confirm your card qualifies and check the applicable terms and discount at checkout.
- Exchange: Treat the displayed exchange value as conditional until the retailer assesses your device.
- Seller and stock: Check which seller is fulfilling the order and whether the required variant is available.
- Final amount: Compare the checkout total after only the offers you can actually use.
The available announcements do not provide matching live prices for the same iPhone 16 variant at both retailers, so they do not establish which one will be cheaper.
