1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThe Samsung Galaxy A35 5G gives you a larger 6.6-inch display with a stated refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a 5,000mAh typical battery and microSD expansion. The Apple iPhone 14 is smaller and lighter, uses Apple’s A15 Bionic chip and has an IP68 rating. Neither is the automatic winner: operating-system preference, size, storage needs and the actual price available to you matter more than headline megapixel or battery figures.

Which phone has the better screen and feel?
The A35 is the choice for a larger viewing area and a display advertised at up to 120Hz. That higher stated refresh rate may make supported scrolling and motion appear smoother, but it does not by itself establish overall display quality. At 6.6 inches and 209g, the A35 is also the larger, heavier handset.
The iPhone 14’s 6.1-inch display and 172g weight make it the more compact option. If you want a phone that takes up less room in a pocket or is easier to handle one-handed, its dimensions are the clearer advantage. The trade-off is less screen area than Samsung offers.

How do the cameras compare?
The A35 has three rear camera modules, including a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 5MP macro. The iPhone 14 has a 12MP main camera with sensor-shift OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide. Those counts describe hardware, not which phone takes better pictures: megapixels alone do not establish image quality, and there is no like-for-like photo test here to declare a winner.
Choose by the camera features you expect to use. Both have a main camera with optical stabilization, while Samsung also lists a dedicated macro camera. If photo quality is the deciding factor, look for comparable sample images or testing for the exact models and conditions you care about.

Does the Galaxy A35 last longer or charge faster?
Samsung lists a 5,000mAh typical battery for the A35 and support for charging up to 25W; its wall charger is sold separately. Apple’s reviewed iPhone 14 specification page does not state battery capacity. Battery capacity alone cannot establish real-world runtime, and no comparable endurance test is available here, so these figures do not prove which phone lasts longer in daily use.
Storage: fixed capacity or microSD expansion?
Apple lists iPhone 14 storage options of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. Samsung’s US announcement lists the A35 with 128GB internal storage and support for microSD expansion up to 1TB. A microSD card is an additional purchase, and regional configurations should be checked before buying. If you need more space, compare the iPhone’s larger listed internal-storage options with the A35’s removable expansion rather than assuming the base configurations are equivalent.

Water resistance and software support
Apple rates the iPhone 14 IP68 and specifies testing to a maximum depth of 6m for up to 30 minutes under IEC 60529. Samsung rates the A35 IP67 and describes resistance to up to 1m of fresh water for up to 30 minutes, advising against beach or pool use. These are ratings under stated test conditions, not a guarantee against liquid damage; do not treat either phone as waterproof.
Samsung announced four generations of OS and One UI upgrades and five years of security updates for the A35. Apple’s specification page identifies the iPhone 14’s hardware but does not give an end date for software support. The two published statements are not identical measures, so they do not establish a precise support end date for either model; check each maker’s current update information when longevity is a priority.

What is the price difference?
A current, like-for-like price difference cannot be established from the available figures. Samsung’s US launch announcement priced the A35 from $399.99 in 2024; Samsung’s May 2024 US MSRP list gives $399.99 for the unlocked 128GB configuration. AT&T’s comparison page displays $629.99 as an iPhone 14 retail price, but marks both phones “This device is no longer available” through that carrier. These are historical or seller-specific figures, not current market-wide quotes, and their availability, storage and sales conditions are not matched. See Samsung’s 2024 announcement, the May 2024 Samsung US MSRP list and AT&T’s comparison page.
To decide which is cheaper today, compare offers in the same country for the same storage, condition and sales channel, and check whether a phone is unlocked or tied to a carrier. An old launch price or a carrier’s unavailable listing is not a reliable basis for calculating what you will save now.
