A redesigned Apple Music logo
A new Apple Music logo is among the reported visual changes. A separate report noted that the logo appeared in iOS 27.2 developer beta 3 while Apple Music’s website still showed the previous design. That points to a partial or staged visual rollout, rather than evidence that Apple has completed a platform-wide rebrand: 9to5Mac’s report on the logo.
Splash screens in a couple of apps
The report also notes splash screens in a couple of apps, but does not name them. Their presence is a reported interface detail; the available account does not establish what the screens look like or whether they indicate additional functionality.

What Apple TV and HomePod clues are not confirmed features?
Code in the beta points to possible Apple TV 4K and HomePod features, but the report says these were hidden from users pending Apple announcements. They should be treated as discoveries in software code, not capabilities enabled for public beta testers. A related report describes examples including Apple Intelligence references on Apple TV, HomeKit controls for nearby accessories in iPhone Dynamic Island, HomePod code involving speaker surround-system membership and Siri requests forwarded to Apple TV, and possible Apple TV profile images based on characters from its catalog. These remain unconfirmed: 9to5Mac’s account of the code discoveries.

What this means for public beta testers
For now, the reported user-facing changes are modest visual updates. Apple’s program lets members test pre-release software and send feedback, but the program page does not specify installation steps for this release or identify build-specific changes. The Apple TV and HomePod code clues are not a reason to expect those features to work in the current public betas.
