The Infinix NOTE Edge is a good everyday mid-range phone if you value a slim, curved display and a large battery more than high-end gaming or dependable low-light photography. Gadgets 360’s reviewer found the design premium-feeling and battery life good, but noted slippery handling, limited sustained outdoor brightness, and weak video stabilization. The phone launched on 19 January 2026; the specifications and prices below are specific to India unless stated otherwise.
What stands out about the NOTE Edge?
Infinix’s India page lists the NOTE Edge as model X6887, running Android 16 with XOS 16 and powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100. It has a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an IP65 rating, and a 6,500mAh battery. See Infinix India’s NOTE Edge specifications for listed configurations and regional details. Android Central reports that some markets may instead get a 6,150mAh battery, so check the exact model sold where you live.

The design is central to the phone’s appeal. Gadgets 360 reviewer Sheldon Pinto wrote, “The Infinix Note Edge definitely looks the part for a mid-range device.” The reviewer also found it slim and premium-feeling, though its finish can be slippery to hold. A curved screen and slim profile make the phone feel distinctive, but buyers should handle it before choosing a case-free setup.
Is the display bright enough outdoors?
The display combines a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate with curved AMOLED edges. Infinix advertises peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, but that manufacturer figure is not the same as brightness the panel can sustain during prolonged outdoor use. Gadgets 360 found that the screen dimmed after its high-brightness mode, limiting visibility in bright conditions. For regular indoor use and scrolling, the panel’s resolution and refresh rate are attractive; if you often use a phone in direct sun, sustained brightness is a more useful consideration than a peak figure alone.

How does performance hold up?
The Dimensity 7100 is suitable for everyday apps and multitasking, according to the Gadgets 360 review, but it is not a strong choice for demanding games. In the publication’s testing, Genshin Impact ran at around 32 frames per second on medium settings. That is a result from one reviewer’s test, not a promise of the same frame rate in every game session.
Gadgets 360 also reported these benchmark results for the NOTE Edge in 2026. Benchmark scores vary with software, test conditions, and device configuration, so they are useful as a point of reference rather than a guarantee:

The 6,500mAh capacity listed by Infinix India is substantial, although battery size alone does not determine how long a phone lasts. In Gadgets 360’s 2026 rundown test, the reviewer recorded 16 hours and 4 minutes. With the bundled 45W charger, the same review measured 40% charge after 30 minutes and a full charge in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Those are results from the publication’s test, not guaranteed times for every user or market; confirm whether the charger is included with the local version.

Infinix markets six-year battery endurance as a product claim, not as the result of an independent six-year aging test. Android Central reports Infinix lab data saying the battery should retain more than 80% capacity after 2,000 charge cycles; that, too, is manufacturer-reported data rather than an independently verified long-term result. Infinix notes that its demonstrated results are based on controlled Infinix Labs tests and that actual results may vary.

The 50MP rear camera can produce decent daylight photos, according to the Gadgets 360 reviewer. Low-light photography is a weaker point, and the phone lacks optical image stabilization (OIS). The review also found video stabilization weak, which matters if you regularly record while walking or moving. Consider the NOTE Edge’s camera adequate for casual daylight shots, but not the best fit if night photography or steady handheld video is high on your list.

Who should buy the Infinix NOTE Edge?
The NOTE Edge makes the most sense for someone who wants a slim, curved-screen phone with a large battery for everyday use and is comfortable with mid-range gaming performance. Its strongest case is the combination of design, display specifications, and battery capacity. The compromises are easier to accept if you mostly take daylight photos and use the screen indoors; they matter more if you need reliable outdoor visibility, strong low-light images, stabilized video, or demanding gaming performance.
