1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe Infinix GT 30 Pro is the lower-priced, gaming-focused option; the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G listing costs more and advertises a larger battery and faster wired charging. In the India listings reviewed, the Infinix is ₹31,999 and the Motorola is ₹47,999—a displayed difference of ₹16,000. Treat those as snapshot prices, not guaranteed checkout prices. There is an important qualification: Motorola’s detailed official specifications are for the Edge 70 Pro, while India listings use Edge 70 Pro Plus. Confirm the exact India model and SKU before relying on those specifications.
At a glance: which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Infinix GT 30 Pro if dedicated gaming triggers, a 144Hz display, and the lower displayed price are your priorities.
- Consider the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus if the specifications match the exact India variant you plan to buy and you value its listed 6,500mAh battery, 90W wired charging, and 50MP front camera.
- Do not decide on camera quality by megapixels alone. Motorola’s official Edge 70 Pro specification lists optical image stabilization (OIS) on the main camera; the Infinix manufacturer page lists PDAF but not OIS in the specification text reviewed here.
Motorola’s official support page is titled “moto edge 70 pro” and cautions that specifications can vary by market. The India family listing and comparison page use “Edge 70 Pro Plus.” Check the model name, RAM and storage, and supported bands on the specific India listing before buying. Motorola’s support specifications and Motorola India’s Edge family listing provide the relevant naming context.

India price difference
Infinix lists the GT 30 Pro at ₹31,999 MRP inclusive of taxes on its India product page. The 91mobiles comparison lists the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G at ₹47,999. The displayed gap is ₹16,000, calculated from those comparison prices. Motorola India’s family listing also shows ₹47,999 as a displayed price alongside ₹84,999 MRP for its 12GB/256GB listing. Prices, offers, sellers, and stock can change, so verify the exact variant and final checkout amount.

Gaming and everyday performance
Infinix: gaming controls are the clearest differentiator
The GT 30 Pro pairs a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate with dedicated GT Gaming Triggers and a display capable of up to 144Hz. Infinix advertises support for games up to 120FPS, but that is not a promise that every game will run at that frame rate: availability depends on the game and its settings. The manufacturer also describes the phone as esports-ready. These are gaming-focused features, not independent performance test results.

Motorola: a higher-tier named chipset, but no guaranteed speed verdict
Motorola’s Edge 70 Pro support page names the Dimensity 8500 Extreme. That is a higher-tier named chipset than the Infinix’s listed Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, but a chipset name alone does not establish how much faster a phone will feel in your apps or games. The comparison page reports AnTuTu scores of 1,349,476 for Infinix and 2,217,003 for Motorola. Those are figures reported by 91mobiles; the opened comparison does not provide enough protocol detail to assess software builds, screen settings, or repeatability, and the Motorola model-name qualification still applies. Both phones list AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 144Hz. Infinix specifies a 6.78-inch 1224 × 2720 LTPS AMOLED panel; Motorola’s official Edge 70 Pro page lists a 6.8-inch 1272 × 2772 Extreme AMOLED display. Motorola’s listed panel has more pixels and is slightly larger on paper. Brightness figures, where compared, may use different measurement conditions, so they should not be treated as directly equivalent without a common test.

Cameras: resolution is only one part of the comparison
Infinix lists a 108MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide, while Motorola’s official Edge 70 Pro specifications list a 50MP OIS main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide with autofocus and macro capability. The 91mobiles India Pro Plus listing also reports a 50MP telephoto camera, but the official Motorola support page opened for detailed specifications is for the Edge 70 Pro. Confirm that telephoto camera on the exact India model before counting it as a buying advantage.
The Infinix’s higher main-camera megapixel count does not by itself prove better photos. OIS can help steady a camera during capture, but neither the listed megapixels nor the presence of OIS establishes which phone takes better pictures. The provided specification text from Infinix lists PDAF but does not list OIS; the comparison page says the GT 30 Pro main camera has no OIS. The latter is secondary-source information, not an official Infinix confirmation.

Battery, charging, and software support
Capacity and charging options
Motorola’s official Edge 70 Pro specification lists a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery and 90W wired charging. Infinix lists a 5,500mAh battery and its FAQ gives 45W wired, 30W wireless, and 10W reverse wired charging. The figures are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee of real-world endurance or charging time. Infinix’s listed wireless charging is a useful distinction if it is present on the precise regional configuration being sold.

91mobiles reports PCMark battery test results of 7h 26m for the Infinix and 14h 11m for the Motorola. These are the comparison page’s test figures, not predicted everyday screen time. The page does not provide enough detail in the material reviewed to verify test settings, software versions, or repeatability, and Motorola’s regional model naming is not resolved by the figures. Do not interpret them as evidence that the Motorola lasts twice as long in normal use. 91mobiles’ comparison page reports the results.

Update commitments
The official Motorola Edge 70 Pro support page states Android 16 and up to three years of OS upgrades and security patches. Infinix lists XOS 15 based on Android 15. While 91mobiles reports two years of OS updates and three years of security updates for the Infinix, the official Infinix excerpt reviewed here does not confirm those durations, so treat them as comparison-site reporting rather than a manufacturer-confirmed commitment.
Protection and configuration checks
Infinix lists IP64 and warns that protection can deteriorate, with submersion damage not covered. Motorola’s official Edge 70 Pro page lists IP69/IP68 and MIL-STD 810H. These are not a substitute for checking the warranty terms, and the Motorola ratings need confirmation against the exact India Pro Plus variant.
Both models are listed with 256GB storage. Infinix offers 8GB or 12GB RAM configurations, while Motorola’s official Edge 70 Pro support page lists 8GB and 12GB RAM; the India family listing shows 12GB/256GB. Compare the same RAM/storage configuration and check supported network bands for the exact regional SKU rather than assuming all listings use identical hardware.
Which one is the better buy?
At the displayed India prices, the Infinix is the more affordable choice and has the more explicit gaming-control pitch. The Motorola listing costs ₹16,000 more and, if its official Edge 70 Pro specifications apply to the India Pro Plus SKU, offers a larger stated battery, faster wired charging, and a higher-resolution front camera. The available specifications do not settle camera quality or everyday battery life, and the regional naming mismatch makes SKU verification essential before choosing Motorola on specification grounds.
