That label communicates uncertainty about availability, not a particular injury or its severity. Neither the report nor the other cited coverage establishes a cause, treatment plan or recovery timeline.

Why the update mattered to Indiana’s running-back depth
Beebe entered the week after a reported 203-yard rushing performance against Northwestern. The Daily Hoosier said he had 24 carries in that game after Turbo Richard was injured. That workload and production made his status especially relevant as Indiana assessed its available backs, but neither establishes an injury to Beebe.

The Oct. 1 report described several other availability concerns among Indiana’s running backs:
- Khobie Martin was listed out.
- Turbo Richard was listed probable.
- Sean Cuono was listed questionable.
These were the categories reported at that point in time, not a guarantee of who would be available by kickoff. The Daily Hoosier reported Beebe’s rushing total, carries and the other backs’ listed statuses.

Was Beebe available against Rutgers?
The cited Oct. 1 status report does not establish whether Beebe ultimately played on Oct. 3, and the available reporting does not confirm a later official update. A game-day availability report or game recap is needed to answer that question definitively. Yahoo Sports/The Herald-Times published another report on Indiana’s running backs on Oct. 2, but its publication date alone does not establish Beebe’s final status: Indiana football’s top four running backs listed on latest injury report.
