You can loop rights-cleared Bengali rhymes from a home PC with YouTube’s encoder workflow, but a single stream running longer than 12 hours may not be archived. If you need reliable replays as well as a live feed, plan shorter sessions and record a local copy.
Decide what “24/7” needs to mean
There are three separate goals: keeping a stream live, preserving a YouTube replay, and maintaining your own library of rhymes you have permission to use. A single continuous event can serve the first goal but put the second at risk. YouTube’s current, undated Help guidance says a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all; it recommends a local archive backup. Treat that as a warning, not a guarantee that a shorter stream will always be saved.

- For an always-on presentation: keep the encoder and PC running, and monitor the connection and stream.

Check eligibility, audience and rights first
Confirm the channel can livestream
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. The person streaming must be at least 16. If a 13–15-year-old appears without a visibly accompanying adult, YouTube says chat or other live features may be restricted.
Set the audience accurately
Bengali nursery rhymes are likely to be child-directed, but the channel owner must classify the actual stream accurately. In YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, set the audience as made for kids when that is appropriate, and check the audience setting on archived videos too. YouTube cautions creators not to rely on its systems to make this decision.

Made-for-kids content has feature limits: live chat, comments, the notification bell, Super Chat and Super Stickers, memberships on that content, and personalized advertising are unavailable. YouTube lists ads, Super Chat or Super Stickers, and memberships as general monetization routes for eligible live content, but those routes are subject to the made-for-kids limits; ad slots are not guaranteed. Clear every recording and visual
Use only audio and visuals you have permission to broadcast. A rhyme being traditional does not automatically make a particular recording, arrangement, performance, translation, illustration or animation free of rights restrictions. Check the rights for each asset, including the territories and uses covered by the permission. Keep documentation with your files. YouTube’s rights-management settings do not establish that you own or have licensed any particular Bengali recording.
Set up the stream from your PC
- Prepare the playlist. Put the video files you intend to loop in a known folder and confirm that you can play them on the PC. Keep a separate copy of the originals and your rights records. This guide does not assume a particular encoder or playlist application.
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Create or schedule a livestream, choose its privacy setting and audience, and select the encoder workflow for a computer-based production.
- Copy the stream URL and key. Enter them in your encoder’s streaming settings. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or include it in screenshots. If it is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room and update the encoder.
- Configure the encoder. Start with H.264, constant bitrate (CBR), and a two-second keyframe interval. Choose one of the resolution and bitrate starting points in the table below, then apply the same output settings in the encoder.
- Check the connection and power. Test upload speed on the actual connection you will use, at the time and location of the stream. Account for other devices sharing the connection. YouTube recommends 20% upload headroom above the stream bitrate and warns that connectivity disruptions can break a stream.
- Run a test before the real broadcast. Start the encoder early, check the Live Control Room preview, then confirm the stream plays on the channel’s watch page and on a mobile device. Check picture and sound throughout. If you use a backup connection, test the failover rather than assuming it works.
- Start the planned session. Keep the PC, encoder and connection running for the whole session. Monitor the live output and check that any local recording is present, playable and continuing to grow.

YouTube’s current, undated encoder-settings guidance lists the following H.264 recommendations. These are starting points, not a promise that a given home connection or PC will sustain them.

YouTube recommends CBR and a two-second keyframe interval and supports RTMP or RTMPS ingestion. Select the matching protocol supported by your encoder. Do not raise the bitrate simply because the connection reports a high download speed: the relevant measure is sustained outbound upload, with headroom left for fluctuations and other household traffic. A wired network connection can reduce one source of variability, but it cannot fix an unstable ISP connection or a power outage.
Plan session length and local recordings
One uninterrupted 24-hour event is not the safest choice if the replay matters: YouTube’s archive guidance warns that a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. Instead, divide the schedule into shorter events and save a local recording for each one. This gives you independent copies if a platform archive is missing, while still letting you schedule recurring blocks to present the channel for much of the day.
During testing, verify that the local file opens and that its size continues increasing while recording. YouTube also advises checking local archive file integrity and growth in tests. Ensure the PC has enough available storage for the recording duration; the required amount depends on the encoder output and the files being recorded.

Troubleshoot common failures
- The stream does not appear in the Live Control Room preview: confirm the encoder is running, the stream URL and key are entered correctly, and the key has not been reset. Re-copy the current details from Live Control Room if needed.
- The stream starts, then disconnects or buffers: test sustained upload on the streaming connection, reduce the output to 720p30 at 3 Mbps if you were using the higher setting, and check whether other devices are consuming bandwidth. Leave YouTube’s recommended upload headroom; a short speed test alone cannot guarantee stability.
- The PC stops sending the feed: check whether the computer slept, restarted, lost power, or the encoder closed. Adjust the PC’s power settings so it does not sleep during a planned session, and test the complete setup before relying on it.
- The livestream is missing from the archive: check its duration first. YouTube warns that streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured. Use shorter events and local recordings when replay preservation matters.
- The archive exists but has the wrong audience setting: review the archived video’s audience setting in YouTube Studio and correct it based on the actual content.
- A rights claim or restriction appears: review the affected recording, arrangement, performance and visual assets against the permissions you hold. Replace or remove material you cannot verify you are allowed to broadcast; the fact that a rhyme is traditional is not proof that a particular version is cleared.

Estimate the practical costs
