The IKEA Australia manual describes power management that can limit the total available power to 2.5, 4.0, 6.0, or 7.2 kW. Do not assume those settings or connection requirements apply to an Otrolig sold in another country: use the edition that matches the appliance and local electrical supply.
Does the public review establish how well it cooks?
No. The public CHOICE listing shows specifications, but gates its expert rating, detailed test results, cooking-performance and ease-of-use scores, boil time, and pros and cons behind member access. It therefore does not support a reliable claim here about speed, low-heat control, usability, or overall performance.

CHOICE identifies the expert test as 2023 or earlier, without stating the specific year on the listing. Its AUD 899 price and five-year warranty are also listing data, not evidence of today’s price or coverage for a used appliance.

Do not choose a replacement on width alone. The visible top dimensions do not tell you whether a new unit will fit the existing worktop cut-out or meet the installation’s electrical requirements.

- Cut-out and overall dimensions: Compare the existing opening and available space with the replacement’s installation drawing. The Otrolig’s GB manual reports 580 × 510 × 56 mm for the appliance, but use the exact regional guide for installation dimensions.
- Electrical connection and load: Check the local voltage, current, and maximum connection load against the replacement manual and existing circuit. The Australian Otrolig manual’s selectable power limits are regional information, not a universal wiring specification.

It does not confirm current parts stock.
