The useful confirmed details are its listed dimensions, shelf positions and warranty, along with the need to check local fit, price and guarantee terms before buying.

Dimensions and cabinet fit
CHOICE lists the following measurements. They are not a substitute for checking the installation documentation supplied for the oven in your country.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches| Measurement | CHOICE-listed figure |
|---|---|
| Claimed external dimensions (H × W × D) | 600 × 600 × 550 mm |
| Internal baking dimensions | 300 × 500 × 400 mm |
| Cutout dimensions | 585 × 560 × 560 mm |
| Shelf positions | 5 |
Before ordering or replacing an oven, compare the cabinet opening and clearances with the exact local installation instructions. A nominal 60 cm width alone does not confirm that the appliance will fit your cabinetry or meet installation requirements.

Installation, repairs and care
IKEA’s manual says installation and repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician and directs owners to IKEA authorized service. Follow the manual and local requirements for electrical work; do not treat a wall oven as a DIY installation based only on its dimensions.
For routine care, the manual advises disconnecting power before maintenance and allowing the oven to cool before cleaning. It says not to use steam cleaning, harsh abrasive cleaners or metal scrapers on the door glass. Consult the manual for the full safety and maintenance instructions. IKEA MATTRADITION oven manual

Is the FXJM6 MATTRADITION worth buying?
The available evidence supports a cautious, fit-first assessment rather than a performance recommendation. The model’s identity and several specifications are public, but its detailed independent test results are not. Before choosing it, verify local stock and price, confirm that the cutout and installation requirements match your kitchen, and compare disclosed performance results and warranty terms for alternatives in your market. Without the gated scores or other substantiated comparative results, there is no basis to call this oven a tested winner or a poor performer.
