Mobiel factureren instellen op je Apple Account
Op een iPhone of iPad beheer je betaalmethoden in de instellingen van je Apple Account:

- Open Instellingen en tik op je naam.
- Tik op Betaling en verzending.
- Kies Voeg betaalmethode toe en kijk of mobiel factureren wordt aangeboden. Volg de aanwijzingen op het scherm.
Apple beschrijft ook routes via de account- of App Store-instellingen op Mac en Windows. De beschikbare opties zijn afhankelijk van het land of de regio van je Apple Account. Bekijk Apples betaalmethoden voor je land of regio voor de officiële informatie.

Welke Nederlandse providers noemt Apple?
In Apples overzicht voor Nederland staan KPN, Odido, Telfort en Vodafone bij mobiel factureren. Dit is Apples lijst met genoemde providers, geen bevestiging dat iedere aansluiting, elk abonnement of iedere klant bij die providers wordt geaccepteerd. De actuele beschikbaarheid kan veranderen; controleer de officiële lijst met beschikbare betaalmethoden wanneer je de instelling probeert.

Kun je iCloud+ en App Store-aankopen ermee betalen?
Apple vermeldt mobiel factureren als betaalmethode voor App Store- en iTunes Store-aankopen en meer. Apple-abonnementen, waaronder iCloud+, vallen onder de betaalinstellingen van je Apple Account en vereisen een geldige betaalmethode. Of mobiel factureren specifiek voor jouw iCloud+-betaling beschikbaar is, hangt af van regio en provider; de officiële informatie geraadpleegd voor dit artikel specificeert niet afzonderlijk de beschikbaarheid voor elke Nederlandse provider en elke iCloud+-transactie.
Een ander mobiel nummer verifiëren
Als je een ander nummer wilt gebruiken dan het nummer dat Apple voorstelt, kies je tijdens het wijzigen van de betaalmethode Gebruik een ander mobiel nummer. Vul het nummer in dat hoort bij de telefoonrekening die je wilt gebruiken. Apple stuurt een eenmalige verificatiecode per sms; voer die code in op je apparaat om het nummer te bevestigen.

Als mobiel factureren niet verschijnt of instellen mislukt
- Controleer de accountregio. Kijk of de land-/regio-instelling van je Apple Account past bij de betaalmethode die je wilt toevoegen.
- Controleer providersondersteuning. Mobiel factureren is niet in alle landen of regio’s beschikbaar. Als de optie ontbreekt, ondersteunt je provider de methode mogelijk niet voor jouw aansluiting.
- Controleer de sms-verificatie. Bij gebruik van een ander mobiel nummer moet je de code invoeren die Apple naar dat nummer stuurt.
- Raadpleeg Apple of je provider. Apple adviseert de betaalmethoden voor je land/regio te controleren. Als je daarna nog problemen hebt, kan contact met de aanbieder van de betaalmethode nodig zijn.
Apple vat de voorwaarde samen: “If your network provider supports it, you can pay for your App Store and iTunes Store purchases and more with mobile phone billing.” Dit staat in Apples instructie over problemen met mobiel factureren, bijgewerkt op 11 december 2024: If there’s an issue when you set up mobile phone billing.
