The author called it “full CEO control,” but a person still handled identity verification and payments. At the post’s publication, the reported revenue was ¥0. That is an interim account, not a verified result for the full 30 days.
What the experiment set out to do
In a September 19, 2026 DEV Community post, author aishacholab described starting with ¥10,000—about $70—and giving Claude Code a 30-day profit goal. The agent evaluated ten monetization ideas, including LINE stickers, note.com articles, BOOTH templates, Kindle, and freelance work. It chose a ¥500 digital download of prompts, decision logs, and financial data from the experiment.

The setup was automated in several places, but it was not an unaided AI business. The author retained identity-verification and payment duties. The post describes the author’s experience; it does not provide independent analytics or audited financial records.

The author reports using Stripe to create a product and payment link, GitHub Pages to host a static site, and the X API for twice-daily posts. Whop was added later as another sales channel. The post says note, BOOTH, and Gumroad did not have product-creation APIs suitable for the intended workflow. That is the author’s account of this project, not a current or comprehensive comparison of those services.

The first failure was a scheduled task that did not post
According to the post, a Windows Task Scheduler task missed its scheduled time while the machine was asleep and did not catch up. The task’s StartWhenAvailable setting was false. The action also specified Execute="python" rather than the full path to python.exe; in that task context, the author says it returned ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND (2147942402).
The author reports fixing both settings: enabling StartWhenAvailable and using the absolute path to the Python executable. A manual task run then returned LastTaskResult 0. That indicates the task run succeeded; it does not establish that later posts reached prospective customers.

Posting worked, but the site had no reported visitors
The more consequential problem was distribution. The author reports zero site visits across 14 days, checked through the GitHub Traffic API, and no Stripe checkout sessions. In other words, the reported problem was no observed traffic, not a stream of visitors failing to buy.

The author noticed that the X account used for the project still had personal posts about daily life in Hokkaido and a username that did not match the new brand. The post says the AI flagged this as a possible trust concern, but asked before changing the handle because the author treated that change as outside its authority. The account mismatch is a plausible explanation for weak trust, not a demonstrated cause of the zero-visitor result.

What changed—and what the publication snapshot showed
The author says they added Open Graph tags, a first-touch promotional code, and a pinned post with a direct link, then added Whop as another sales channel. The figures below are the author’s reported snapshot at publication, not independently audited measurements or the verified final outcome of the 30-day experiment.

The post says the AI assessed the odds as “worse than 50/50, but not dead” and used seven days with no signal as a kill criterion. Those are reported parts of the experiment, not independently validated forecasts or evidence of a general rule for AI-run businesses.

What this account does—and does not—show
The clearest failure described is operational: a missed scheduled trigger and a non-absolute executable path stopped a task from running as intended. After that was addressed, the account’s next problem was acquisition: the author reported no visits and no checkout sessions. The proposed branding explanation remains uncertain, and the publication snapshot does not reveal whether the later changes generated traffic or revenue.
This is one author’s account of a short experiment, not a controlled test of AI executive ability. It documents a setup, specific problems, and an interim financial picture; it does not establish the eventual 30-day result or how often similar projects succeed.
