For businesses considering AI, Mark Kashef’s advice is to get the foundations right first: “Clean your back of house. Make sure your systems can talk to each other. And understand what it means for you to be compliant, because that means different things to different people.” Kashef is the founder of Prompt Advisers, an AI consulting and education business. In an October 1, 2026, Entrepreneur profile, he describes how the company developed and why he believes process, connected systems and context-specific compliance matter more than clever prompts alone.
The three sentences—and what they mean in practice
Kashef’s advice is practical guidance from his experience working with businesses, not a formal technical or legal standard. Each sentence points to a different prerequisite for making an AI workflow useful.
1. Clean up the “back of house”
Before adding AI to a process, make sure the process itself is understandable. Kashef describes a clean back of house as having proper systems, usable data and documented standard operating procedures. A business should know what it wants to improve and how the current work gets done; otherwise, it may automate confusion rather than solve a defined problem.
2. Make sure systems can exchange information
An AI workflow may depend on information held in more than one business system. Check that the tools involved can share the information the workflow needs, and establish how that information is supposed to move between them. A promising AI use case can stall if its inputs are inaccessible or disconnected.

3. Define compliance for the specific use
“Compliant” does not mean the same thing for every organization or use case, Kashef cautions. A company should identify the requirements that apply to its own context and seek appropriate legal, security or other specialist review. His advice is not a substitute for that review or a universal compliance checklist.
How Prompt Advisers developed its business
According to the Entrepreneur profile, Kashef earned a master’s degree in management and AI in 2019 and started Prompt Advisers a few days after ChatGPT launched in late 2022. He began by offering prompt writing through Fiverr, then grew from individual, lower-priced prompts toward larger business engagements. The profile describes YouTube content as another source of visibility that helped bring in business inquiries.

The company’s work now spans education, consulting and custom development. Kashef says rapid changes in technology and project scope made custom development more difficult to manage profitably. Consulting and education, by contrast, can help clients learn to identify their own use cases and understand how to address them.

What the services look like for clients
The profile says Prompt Advisers’ workshops for small and medium businesses are tailored to stakeholders’ pain points, with brief individual consultations and follow-up clarification. Some enterprise engagements involve more tailored teaching for specific departments and compliance contexts. Custom development may follow an initial consulting engagement when a client needs implementation support.
That sequence reflects a useful distinction for businesses evaluating help: training and advice can build internal understanding, while custom development delivers a particular solution. The right scope depends on whether the organization needs to identify and prioritize use cases, teach staff, or build a defined workflow.

Why “nontechnical” does not necessarily mean “not eligible”
Kashef says he encounters the assumption, “I’m non-technical, ergo, that means I’m not eligible to use Claude Code.” In his account, members of his entrepreneur community use Claude Code for tasks such as creating PowerPoint presentations and Excel and Word documents, not only writing software. Those examples describe what he says his community does; they are not a survey of users or an independent assessment of the product’s capabilities.
The broader point is to start with the task rather than rule out a tool based only on a label like “nontechnical.” A business should still assess whether a proposed tool fits the work, the people doing it and the organization’s systems and compliance needs.

What the story does—and does not—establish
The Entrepreneur profile reports Kashef’s account of Prompt Advisers’ history, services, prices and revenue. Those company-specific figures are not independently verified here, and the profile does not provide a head-to-head comparison of AI consultants, tools or service models.
It also quotes Fiverr’s 2026 Business Trends Index as reporting a 938% increase in demand for Claude Code specialists over the previous six months. That is Fiverr’s trend figure as relayed by Entrepreneur, not an independently checked measure of demand across the broader market.
