The Hysure T8PLUS is a compact thermo-electric (Peltier) dehumidifier with a 2,000 ml (2 L) water tank. Its headline figure, approximately 750 ml of water per day, comes from the product manual and applies only at 30°C and 80% relative humidity. That is a rated benchmark, not a typical result for every room, and no independent test of this exact model is available, so the figure cannot be carried over to a space with different temperature or humidity.
What kind of dehumidifier the T8PLUS is
The T8 Plus user manual identifies a Peltier module, a thermo-electric element, as the moisture-removal component. It does not use a refrigerant compressor. Compressor designs dominate larger dehumidifiers; thermo-electric designs are generally compact and lower in capacity. That category difference matters more than any single number on the spec sheet, because it sets expectations for how much water the unit can pull from the air and how much space it suits.

What the 750 ml per day figure represents
The manual states an approximate collection rate of 750 ml per day. The condition attached to that rating is the important part:

30°C and 80% relative humidity is a hot, very moist condition. Many bedrooms, bathrooms and utility rooms are cooler or drier than that, and a dehumidifier generally removes less water as the air holds less moisture. Treat 750 ml as the top of the range you can expect under those conditions, not as a daily average you should plan around.

Tank capacity versus daily output
The tank holds 2,000 ml. The tank is a buffer, not a measure of how much the unit removes. At the rated rate of 750 ml per day, a full tank corresponds to roughly 2.7 days of continuous operation (2,000 ÷ 750 ≈ 2.7). In a cooler or drier room, where output is likely lower, the interval between emptying would be longer. In a very humid room, it would be shorter than the rated figure implies only if the unit actually produces more than 750 ml, which the manual does not claim.
The manual’s component list includes a water displacement hole and a hydraulic cut-off. The available manual text does not explain how either works in practice, so check the physical manual before planning any continuous-drain setup.

“Quiet” and “lightweight” are the manual’s own descriptions. Neither is backed by a measured decibel level or weight in the available documentation. If noise matters for a bedroom or office, the only practical test is to run the unit in that room and listen, ideally with a sound level meter, before relying on it overnight.

Is the T8PLUS a fit for your space?
The documentation supports a fairly narrow judgement. Check these points before buying:
- You have a small room, bathroom or utility space rather than a whole floor. The compact footprint of 228 × 150 × 373 mm suits that category.
- You can empty a 2 L tank every couple of days, or you can accept a shorter interval when the room is very humid.
- Your local mains supply falls within AC 100–240 V.
- You do not need a verified coverage area, noise level or running-cost figure to make the decision.
- You do not plan to run the unit on continuous drainage until you have confirmed how the water displacement hole is meant to be used.
If you need a guaranteed daily output in a specific room, or documented energy use, the current documentation does not provide that. A short test in your own space will answer more than the rating does.

How to measure output in your own room
- Place a hygrometer in the room and record the temperature and relative humidity before you start.
- Empty the tank completely and note the time.
- Run the unit with the doors and windows in their normal positions for 24 hours.
- Pour the collected water into a measuring jug and record the volume in millilitres.
- Compare the result with 750 ml. A lower result is expected in a cooler or drier room; do not treat the rating as a target for a different condition.
What the evidence does and does not establish
- Established by the manual: Peltier design, the 750 ml/day rating at 30°C and 80% RH, the 2,000 ml tank, dimensions, AC 100–240 V input, the listed components and basic power and on/off operation.
- Not established: independent extraction results, measured noise, coverage area, wattage, warranty terms, current price and current availability.
- Publication date: the manual’s year could not be confirmed, so its figures should be read as manual values rather than dated test results.
- Related listing: a retailer page for a Senelux-branded T8+ reports the same 750 ml/day and 2 L tank. It is a related listing, not proof of the Hysure product’s identity or availability.
- Brand context: Hysure’s collection page shows products from compact models up to a 20-pint option. It does not make a direct comparison with the T8PLUS.
No hands-on testing of the T8PLUS is reported in this review, and the figures above should not be read as performance verified in any room.
