Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThe Huus Hush Pod is a freestanding, fully closeable chair designed to create a defined personal retreat inside a larger room. Its enclosed cocoon-like form sets it apart from an ordinary lounge chair, but the manufacturer does not provide test results showing how much sound it reduces or what level of speech privacy it delivers.
What the Huus Hush Pod is
Huus describes Hush as “a free-standing fully closeable privacy pod chair.” Rather than relying on a high back or side wings, it surrounds the seated person with an enclosure that can be closed. The manufacturer presents it as a “personal retreat” and a “dark, hushed, natural space.” Those phrases describe the product’s intended experience, not independently measured outcomes.
The specification sheet names hotels, airports, offices, and libraries as possible settings. It does not document customer installations or establish that the chair improves productivity, wellbeing, or confidentiality. Huus Hush Pod specification sheet
Dimensions and materials
The following are the manufacturer’s listed specifications; the sheet does not state its publication date.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
| Specification | Huus listing |
|---|---|
| Exterior height | 165 cm |
| Exterior width | 142 cm |
| Exterior depth | 142 cm |
| Seat height | 31 cm |
| Body | 100% wool felt |
| Internal frame | FSC-approved plywood |
| Cushion padding | Recycled wool |
| Body colors | Grey or cream |
| Cushion and stitching | Red as standard |
The listed 142 cm width and depth make floor space and the route into the room practical considerations, not just the chair’s appearance. Check the intended location and access path against those measurements before arranging delivery; the sheet does not give a doorway-clearance or installation guide.
Sound absorption is not soundproofing
Huus describes wool felt as “naturally sound absorbing,” but the specification sheet gives no acoustic test, decibel reduction, speech-privacy result, or soundproofing rating. The material description alone cannot establish that conversations inside are inaudible outside, or that the pod blocks surrounding noise. If measurable acoustic privacy is essential, request test documentation from Huus rather than treating the enclosed shape as proof of performance.

The shipping block lists net weight as 65 kg and gross weight as 85 kg. It gives shipping dimensions as 120 × 85 × 900 cm (L × W × H), including a shipping height of 900 cm. That height appears inconsistent with the chair’s listed 165 cm exterior height; confirm the shipping dimensions with Huus before using them to plan transport or access.

NaughtOne also sells a product called Hush, but it is a different design: a wingback lounge chair with a wraparound backrest, not Huus’s fully closeable pod. NaughtOne lists its high-back version at 45.5 inches high, 28.5 inches wide, and 32 inches deep, and describes it as supporting private calls, discussions, and focused work. Those specifications and claims apply to NaughtOne’s chair, not the Huus Hush Pod. NaughtOne Hush product page
