Beebom’s October 12, 2026 snapshot ranks Emergency Airhorn, Rocket Shoes, and Cloak in S tier. That is an editorial tier list, not an official or independently tested ranking. It also does not establish a weapon tier list or a character-build comparison. Your best choice depends on whether you are playing Runner or Chaser, the situation in the round, and the limitations of the ability you can use reliably.
What this tier list actually covers
The available evidence supports an ability ranking and role-based loadout advice, not a complete comparison of weapons or character builds. Beebom’s guide, published October 12, 2026, is the clearest dated snapshot. It orders ten abilities from S (strongest) to D (weakest) and gives brief descriptions of several effects. The guide does not publish win rates, sample sizes, test conditions, or a repeatable scoring method.

A fan-maintained Huss Valley Wiki describes abilities as Gem-unlocked, equipped before a round, and activated with Q. It groups useful choices broadly as movement extenders for Runners, utility for flexible play, and crowd control for Chasers in suitable lanes. That wiki also warns that placements can change after updates. Its categories are not a verified replacement for Beebom’s named ranking.

Beebom’s October 12, 2026 Huss Valley tier list
| Tier | Abilities | What the placement means |
|---|---|---|
| S | Emergency Airhorn; Rocket Shoes; Cloak | Beebom’s highest-priority group. The guide describes these as the strongest overall options, although their value changes by role and circumstance. |
| A | Rufus’s Leash; Pocket Door; Inflatable Decoy | Strong choices that Beebom places just below the S-tier group. |
| B | Big Dagger; One Hit Shield | Usable, but ranked below the guide’s preferred options. |
| C | Bowling Ball | Placed in the lower-middle of the list by Beebom. |
| D | Bear Trap | Beebom’s lowest-ranked option in this snapshot. |
The letters are Beebom’s editorial labels, not an official Huss Valley rating system. A lower tier does not make an ability unusable, and an S-tier placement does not remove the need to understand timing, range, map position, or the opposing player’s movement.
Why there is no single “best ability”
Beebom separates the priorities of the two main roles. Runners generally need an escape or distraction tool: something that creates distance, breaks an approach, or gives them a chance to reposition. Chasers generally want a way to close distance or stop a player from escaping. The same ability can therefore feel exceptional in one role and merely adequate in the other.
The S tier itself demonstrates this point. Emergency Airhorn is described as knocking nearby Chasers back, which directly addresses a Runner’s emergency when a pursuer reaches them. Rocket Shoes is described as helping Chasers close distance, matching the pursuit role. Cloak briefly hides the user, which can support an escape or an approach, but it has important restrictions and is not guaranteed safety.

S-tier abilities and their practical limits
Emergency Airhorn
Beebom places Emergency Airhorn in S tier and says it knocks nearby Chasers back. That makes it the clearest emergency-disengagement choice in the cited list. A Runner can use the effect when a Chaser has reached threatening range, then take the opening to change direction or create space.
Its value is positional rather than universal. The description refers to nearby Chasers, so a player who activates it too early, too far away, or after being surrounded may not obtain the same benefit. Treat it as a response to immediate pressure, not as a substitute for route planning. The guide does not provide a measured radius, cooldown, duration, or success rate; those details should be checked in the current game interface rather than inferred from the tier label.

Rocket Shoes
Rocket Shoes is also S tier in Beebom’s snapshot. The guide specifically says it helps Chasers close distance. That makes it a natural first experiment for a player whose job is to reach Runners before they can escape.
Closing distance is only useful if the approach ends in contact or control. Use the ability with a clear target and a route that leaves you able to continue the chase. Do not assume that an S-tier mobility tool automatically improves a Runner loadout; the cited description is framed around Chaser pursuit. Beebom does not publish speed, duration, charge, or cooldown measurements, so no numeric performance claim can be made from this list.
Cloak
Cloak rounds out Beebom’s S tier and is described as briefly hiding the user. The same guide gives three limitations that should shape your decision:
- You can still be hit while Cloak is active.
- Nearby players can see you.
- Using an item ends the Cloak effect.
Those caveats make Cloak a concealment or repositioning tool, not invulnerability. It is most sensible when hiding your movement or approach matters and you can avoid obvious proximity to other players. If you activate it and immediately use another item, you lose the effect according to Beebom’s description. The guide does not establish how long the concealment lasts, how visibility changes with distance, or which attacks can connect, so avoid treating it as a guaranteed escape button.
What the A-, B-, C- and D-tier placements tell you
A tier: Rufus’s Leash, Pocket Door and Inflatable Decoy
Beebom places Rufus’s Leash, Pocket Door and Inflatable Decoy in A tier. That means the guide considers them strong but not quite as broadly valuable as its S-tier choices. The available material does not provide verified descriptions for each of these three abilities, so their names should not be treated as proof of exact range, duration, target rules, or role.

Use the in-game description to determine whether one fits your plan. For a Runner, favor the A-tier option whose stated effect creates an escape or distraction. For a Chaser, favor the one whose stated effect helps you close, interrupt, or control a route. If you cannot explain the timing and limitation in one sentence, test it in a low-stakes round before spending Gems on it.

B tier: Big Dagger and One Hit Shield
Big Dagger and One Hit Shield occupy B tier in the same snapshot. They may still be sensible purchases for a player who understands their timing or prefers their play pattern. However, the cited guide does not supply controlled evidence showing that either produces a particular win-rate improvement, and the available material does not establish their detailed mechanics.
Choose between them only after reading the current ability text and deciding what problem you need to solve. A B-tier label is a relative ranking within Beebom’s list, not a warning that the ability cannot work.
C tier: Bowling Ball
Bowling Ball is C tier in Beebom’s October snapshot. That places it below the options the guide regards as consistently strong. A lower placement can still be acceptable for experimentation, a particular map situation, or a player who is more practiced with it than with a higher-ranked ability. No source here provides enough mechanical detail to claim a specific optimal scenario.
D tier: Bear Trap
Bear Trap is the sole D-tier entry in Beebom’s list. It is the guide’s lowest recommendation, but that does not establish that it is broken or unusable. It indicates only that Beebom judged the other nine choices more generally effective. Before buying it, compare its current in-game description with your role and decide whether its setup and timing fit the rounds you actually play.
Role-based loadout advice
Runner: prioritize escape and distraction
The fan wiki’s broad recommendation is to look for movement extenders and utility when playing Runner. Among the specifically described abilities, Emergency Airhorn is the clearest match because Beebom says it knocks nearby Chasers back. Cloak is another possible Runner choice if you understand that it does not prevent hits, nearby players may see you, and using an item ends the effect.
- Identify the moment that usually ends your run: being caught in close range, losing a route, or being read by a Chaser.
- Choose the ability whose documented effect addresses that moment rather than selecting by tier alone.
- Keep the ability available for the critical window. Do not trigger an emergency tool merely because a Chaser is visible at a distance.
- After activation, immediately commit to a route change or distraction. An escape effect has less value if you continue along the same predictable path.
Rocket Shoes should not be treated as the default Runner pick simply because it is S tier; Beebom describes its value in terms of helping Chasers close distance. For any A-, B-, C- or D-tier option, read the current description before assigning it a Runner role, because the available sources do not establish each named ability’s exact function.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
Chaser: prioritize pursuit and interruption
The wiki’s broad Chaser category is crowd control in suitable lanes, while Beebom specifically identifies Rocket Shoes as a tool that helps Chasers close distance. That combination makes Rocket Shoes the most directly supported Chaser recommendation in the available material.
Recommended Free Tools
- Pick a target and a route before activating a movement tool.
- Use the ability when it shortens the remaining approach, not when you are already in contact.
- Read the current description for any targeting, duration, or ending condition; none of those measurements are established by the cited tier list.
- If a Runner repeatedly breaks contact, consider a documented control or interruption effect instead of assuming that more movement speed solves every chase.
Cloak can also be relevant to a Chaser who wants to approach unseen, but Beebom’s warnings matter: nearby players can see the user, the user can still be hit, and activating another item ends the effect. Emergency Airhorn is described as knocking Chasers back, so it is primarily a threat the Chaser must anticipate rather than an obvious pursuit recommendation.
Flexible or mixed-role play
If you switch roles, utility may be more valuable than a narrowly specialized effect. The fan wiki uses “utility” as a broad category, but it does not validate a named universal loadout. Start with one S-tier ability whose described function matches your more common role, then change only when your match experience identifies a recurring problem. Record what happened—late activation, poor position, or an unsuitable effect—rather than concluding that the tier list alone was wrong.
How to buy, equip and activate an ability
The fan-maintained wiki says abilities are unlocked with Gems, equipped before a round, and activated with Q. Because this is not a primary developer source and the page is undated, treat those steps as the wiki’s current guidance and confirm the labels in your version of the game.
- Open the ability or loadout screen before entering a round.
- Check the Gem cost and read the full current description, including any restrictions.
- Equip one ability in the pre-round loadout slot.
- Enter a round and verify that the ability is available on the
Qkey or the equivalent control shown by your interface. - Test the activation timing in a safe situation before relying on it during a close chase.
The sources do not establish current Gem prices, cooldowns, charges, durations, hitboxes, or platform-specific control changes. Do not infer those values from an ability’s tier or name.
How much confidence should you place in the ranking?
Beebom’s list is the strongest dated snapshot available here, but it remains a fan/editorial judgment. No controlled test, sample size, win-rate data, or official ranking accompanies it. That means the list is best used to prioritize experiments, not to guarantee an outcome.

- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
The fan wiki says its placements reflect a post-Update 4 snapshot and advises checking after updates. A separate wiki page presents an alternate Update 4 list that includes Dash Extension and Clone Replicator, but the detailed patch and performance assertions on that page are not supported by primary evidence in the available material. Do not combine those entries with Beebom’s list as though they were one verified ranking.
When an update changes an ability, compare the current in-game text and your own results with the dated list. Record the role, map situation, activation timing and outcome. This will tell you whether a lower-ranked ability solves your particular problem better than an S-tier option.
Why a weapon or character-build tier list is not included
The title asks for a comparison with weapon and character builds, but the cited sources do not provide a substantiated weapon ranking, character-stat comparison, or controlled build test. Creating one would require inventing evidence. The defensible conclusion is narrower: this is an ability tier list with role-specific loadout guidance.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →You can still make a practical build decision by separating the variables:
- Role: Runner or Chaser determines whether escape, distraction, pursuit or control is the priority.
- Ability: Choose an effect that addresses the failure you experience most often.
- Character or weapon: No sourced comparison is available here, so do not assume a particular combination is objectively best.
- Evidence quality: Treat named placements as community guidance and verify changed mechanics in the current game.
If you are comparing two character or weapon options in your own play, hold the ability and role constant, change one variable at a time, and note the conditions. That produces a more useful personal decision than attaching an unsupported “best build” label to the Huss Valley tier list.
A quick decision framework
| Your situation | First option to investigate | Reason and caution |
|---|---|---|
| A Chaser is already close to your Runner | Emergency Airhorn | Beebom says it knocks nearby Chasers back. Confirm the current range and use it for a route change, not as a panic press with no escape path. |
| You are playing Chaser and need to reduce approach time | Rocket Shoes | Beebom says it helps Chasers close distance. The guide gives no measured speed or duration. |
| You need concealment for an approach or reposition | Cloak | It briefly hides the user, but you can still be hit, nearby players can see you, and using an item ends the effect. |
| You want an ability not in S tier | Read the current description first | The named A-, B-, C- and D-tier abilities are ranked, but their detailed mechanics are not established in the available material. |
| You want a weapon or character recommendation | No sourced answer | The available guides do not substantiate a weapon or character-build comparison. |
Bottom line for choosing your first ability
For a Runner, start by evaluating Emergency Airhorn, then consider Cloak only if you can work within its visibility and item-use restrictions. For a Chaser, Rocket Shoes is the most directly supported first choice because Beebom describes it as a distance-closing tool. Treat Rufus’s Leash, Pocket Door, Inflatable Decoy, Big Dagger, One Hit Shield, Bowling Ball and Bear Trap as alternatives to investigate through their current in-game descriptions rather than assuming their names reveal their mechanics.
Most importantly, do not mistake this dated community list for an official weapon or character-build ranking. Use it to choose what to test, match the ability to your role, and recheck the game after updates.
