The Husqvarna 122iB is a 36V cordless leaf blower that Husqvarna positions for small and medium gardens. Its published figures make it worth considering for routine cleanup, but they do not establish how it performs on wet leaves, heavy debris or long sessions. The buying decision also hinges on the package: the UK bare tool excludes a battery and charger, while the kit includes both.
This is a review of Husqvarna’s UK product and support information, not an independent hands-on test. Prices and package details can vary by country and change over time.

What the 122iB is designed for
Husqvarna describes the 122iB as a battery-powered blower for small and medium gardens. It runs on the company’s 36V BLi-X battery system and has three speed modes, a removable tube and a soft-grip handle, according to the manufacturer. Those features describe the design; they do not verify comfort, runtime or clearing results in use.

Airflow and blow force: read the figures by measurement
Husqvarna’s UK product page lists 11 N maximum blow force, 14.42 m³/min maximum air flow at the round nozzle and 53 m/s maximum air speed at the round nozzle. Its support specifications for the selected bare-tool article number also list 11 N maximum blow force, but give 12.1 m³/min airflow in the pipe and 45 m/s air speed at the round nozzle.
The airflow figures refer to different locations, and the round-nozzle air-speed values differ between the product and support pages. Keep those labels attached to the numbers rather than treating them as one directly comparable test. These are Husqvarna specifications, not independent measurements.

What the evidence does—and does not—say about runtime
Husqvarna says runtime depends on battery capacity, task, conditions, battery age and health, and operating level. It describes its “up to” runtime estimates as internal-test guidelines that can vary. The UK pages cited here do not establish a specific runtime figure, so a dependable number of minutes cannot be given from these specifications.
UK price and purchase checks
When accessed in 2026, Husqvarna UK displayed campaign prices of £129.99 for the bare tool and £249.00 for the kit, each against a higher former price. These are time-sensitive UK page prices, not a stable valuation or a guarantee of what you will pay. Check the current listing, currency and package contents before purchase.

Who should consider the Husqvarna 122iB?
The 122iB merits consideration if you want a cordless blower for routine cleanup in a small or medium garden and are comfortable choosing between a bare tool and a kit. Its published specifications give useful reference points, but they are not enough to establish how well it will handle wet leaves, heavy debris, a large property or extended work. For those jobs, seek task-specific performance evidence rather than assuming the maximum figures answer the question.
