Huawei Y6 price in Pakistan
There is no verified current Pakistan retail price for the original Huawei Y6 (2017). WhatMobile lists it as discontinued and notes that local dealer information can vary, so an old user-posted sale amount should not be presented as today’s market price. Any live offer should be checked locally for the exact model, working condition, battery health and included accessories.

Which Huawei Y6 is this?
The title-matched device is the Huawei Y6 announced in 2017. Huawei reused the Y6 name for later phones with different screens, chipsets and software. The 2017 page lists several regional model codes, including MYA-AL10, MYA-TL10, MYA-L03/L23, MYA-L02/L22, MYA-L11 and MYA-L41. A used-phone seller may instead advertise an SCL-U31 or another regional code, so verify the code in Settings → About phone or on the device label before buying.

How the 2017 Y6 compares with later Y6 phones
The following models are separate devices. Their specifications and prices should not be merged with the 2017 phone.
| Model | Key specifications | Pakistan price/status in cited listing |
|---|---|---|
| Huawei Y6 (2017) | 5.0-inch 720 × 1280 display; 2 GB RAM/16 GB; MediaTek MT6737T; 3000 mAh | Discontinued; no dependable current price stated |
| Huawei Y6 2018 | 5.7-inch 720 × 1440 display; 2 GB/16 GB; Snapdragon 425 in the specification table; 3000 mAh | Discontinued on WhatMobile |
| Huawei Y6 Prime 2019 | 6.09-inch HD+ display; 2 GB/32 GB expandable storage; 3020 mAh typical battery; Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0; 13 MP rear camera and 8 MP selfie camera | Rs. 18,999 on the cited WhatMobile page; later model |
WhatMobile’s Y6 2018 page contains conflicting chipset wording: its prose mentions Snapdragon 450, while its specification table lists Snapdragon 425. Treat that listing cautiously rather than assuming either description applies to another Y6 generation. Huawei’s official Y6 Prime 2019 page confirms the later model’s 6.09-inch display, 2 + 32 GB configuration, 3020 mAh typical battery and expandable storage up to 512 GB; the microSD card is sold separately.
What reviews actually tell you
WhatMobile displays a 4.4-star rating from 861 user reviews for its Huawei Y6 page. This is the page’s aggregate of user submissions, not an independent laboratory test or representative survey. Comments include questions about selling an SCL-U31 cheaply and repairing a phone with a damaged board, illustrating the practical issues around used pricing and repairs rather than proving how common those problems are.
The 4.5-star figure shown on the separate Y6 Prime 2019 page belongs to that later model and should not be combined with the 2017 rating. Read the user comments as anecdotal evidence and confirm the individual handset in front of you.

Used-buying checklist in Pakistan
- Confirm the identity: Match the model code, five-inch display and 2 GB/16 GB configuration to the 2017 Y6, not a 2018 or 2019 phone.
- Check network operation: Insert your SIM, place a call and test mobile data. Regional LTE bands may differ.
- Inspect the battery: A non-removable 3000 mAh battery is now several years old; check charging, rapid drain, swelling and whether it has been replaced.
- Test the hardware: Try the touchscreen across the whole panel, cameras, flash, speaker, microphone, headphone jack, microUSB port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
- Verify storage and software: Confirm available internal storage and that the phone can be reset without an account lock.
- Price by condition: Compare only with current local offers for the same model code, working condition, storage, accessories and repair history. Do not anchor on historical comments or the Rs. 18,999 price of a later Y6.
